completely new to this drama, from my perspective this could easily get lost in translation. Me personally, the "just 3 strikes and the channel is terminated. GG" could sound like sarcasm, especially if he was defending him before this message. Meaning something like, "Go ahead and try." But I will wholeheartedly agree that it can also sound spiteful. Meaning something like, "Do it, only takes 3 strikes anyway." Regardless, I don't speak Portuguese, so its difficult to provide input on this, especially since comment above says the translation is off.

Cultures in different places are a bit different, for example insulting people in some countries is illegal and you can be fined for it. So it is not 100% clear what is illegal and not when interacting with international corporations and let’s be honest people don’t read the terms and conditions and determine whether that is not appropriate or not and most people end up assuming that the laws of their country are what they have to follow.

Naw, nerdalos created a huge ego of believing he is untouchable because he has been banning anyone with reason. He really came onto the show, b/c he truly believes he did nothing wrong even when the receipts are against him. I know there is a bit of a language barrier, but the guy was clearly lacking any solid defense for his case... that was painful to listen to. I know it shouldn't mean anything but as a brazilian I feel embarassed because of him

In my professional experience: Chinese companies have 0 problem lying cheating and gaslighting.

The worst thing with the mod is that he used generalized claims as arguments like "he is lying about things","he is ruining the reputation", "he said bad things" but when asked about what, he knew he could not say . If you cant say it dont say it at all but he wanted to say that out loud either way. I do agree that in the end though, the drama is leaving a bad taste to people irregardless of who is at fault.

​@@Dillon1998 I would disagree, I think Google translate would be better at translation than your dead grandma (unless she was able to speak multiple languages). I've used Google translate (the photo mode, the voice mode, and just the usual mode) in areas where no one spoke English. It wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than a dead grandma could've done.

The dude has to think cos he’s clearly not the best at English. Also, the mod had a point. If people are raging in the discord, telling them to simply report the video and move on if they don’t like it is a good way to bring tensions down. It’s not the right thing to do, but he has logic behind it and asmon just spoke over him and abused the language barrier

This was a great way to start the day, props to the mod honestly. He knew he was going into the wolves den asking to come into the call. He came in, took the criticism and ended up being open and honest about the conversation instead of being a bad faith Andy. Wish we saw this more, thanks for looking out Asmon.

This dude is so close to being a good person but he just needs some hard lessons like he got here. Hopefully it helps him grow. People need to be called out every once in a while and “parented”

problem was the 2nd part of the message of the mod, there was malicious intent. you can tell them to just block, mute, report and stuff and its fine but saying 3 strikes it can remove his channel.... problem also with mods is that why does he need permission from the devs to talk about things that are maybe public knowledge. his not part of the company if its on the discord channel then he can talk about it. he is basically the hands of the dev then and if he does anything wrong well its not the dev but the mods....

Man, this guy. He’s probably banned right now. There’s no way he goes back to “volunteering” in a place that is so accepting. Hopefully, he goes on to be a better mod if he continues. His whole perspective just changed. Also- to the chatter who said, “emotional damage,” I choked. Definitely a win.

We need more interview style discussions like this. You did a great job moderating
