I know, right?! Only if I knew this phrase some years ago
I love how dry his humour is! I was literally crying with laughter when he was describing the final 2 tips, and he doesn't even sound like he's smiling! 😂😂😂 Legend
People give me grief over my safety gear, I bought a "dirt" bike but wear street gear. I bought the bike because I like the look and feel of it and the way it corners without having to lean it very much, I wear the street gear because I ride on the street. My safety my choices.

Lol those are also the same people that if you were to crash and weren't wearing that gear and just a tshirt and shorts, "why weren't you wearing any street gear.!?!?!" 😂 i have friends that ride in full race leathers, gauntlet style gloves and track boots and on a dirt bike and i have mad respect for them. Someone that actually has a brain and appreciates their life more than what people think of how they look is what matters. As long as YOU feel safe when riding, doesn't matter what kind of bike. Even a little honda grom lol

I can relate. I even brought my street gear to an enduro class since I didn't have anything else at the time. I must've had MX-boots, can't remember, but I had the rest for street use. No one said anything, but I'm sure they wondered a bit. Everybody hade matching bikes and clothes and no bike older than 2years. My bike was 25years old at the time. Must admit I enjoy "kind of" looking the part on my KLX650R but not infringing on safety. Short spurts at low speed in the city I take my MX-helmet simply for the looks. Longer travels or below zero, I use a full street helmet and full leathers. MX boots I'm sure are better than street boots for safety, but I cant use them on my other bike GSF1200. I do have some pretty expensive Sidi boots for that though. Kicking my klx is better with mx boots. Destroyed a par of street boots kicking my 610TE one winter (slipping off the kick several times that winter).

Wow!! I am 40 and finally decided to pick up riding after researching for years.. watching your channel has further given me the boost I need... you definitely gained a follower here 👍🏾👍🏾
Great advise sir..I'm 43yo and I am just starting to learn to ride a motorcycle..helps me a lot.thank you
I’m just starting to ride and this was a very helpful video. I’ve heard a few experienced riders state that they rev their engines at stops to make the person coming up behind them aware that there’s a bike in front of them.

Flashing your brake light is a far more effective way of alerting a driver approaching behind you, and it doesn’t annoy others around you. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
Picked up my first motorcycle yesterday! Thanks for all the great advice.
Been riding 45 years now, great tips as always. Thanks for refresher.👊👍

Just started riding. Had to do a course to get road legal - uk, and I LOVE MOTORBIKES!! I cannot wait to get back on and I'm tempted to rebook another course just to get back on the bike. I miss it already. Cant wait to get my own! I look forward to many years riding myself
Such great content. I might sound weird but your voice is smoothing and makes me pay attention to what your saying haha. Keep up the good work!

Wow, your subscriber count has rocketed since my last visit, good on you, my man! Love from the UK
Thanks for the video! I always enjoy "riding" along with you, safe riding and beautiful scenery. As usual, you give great advice for beginners as well as the seasoned riders. Have to say, #10 is my favorite. Anyone stunting on the road should have their license pulled on the spot.
I loved this video . Good advices and the last two tips are totally true lol . Great job and keep it like that 👍🏽.
I give this video 2 thumbs up. It is very rare on KZread to have a factual, sensible motorcycle video.
You sir are the Bob Ross of motorcycles. Subscribed as a newbie that just bought my first bike as a 40th bday gift to myself.....a few months early.

Thanks again. I'm truly learning and enjoying your videos.
Nice bro, I'm a novice rider with like 100 ish miles under my belt haha, I probably spent as much on armour as my bike costed me.
I don't ever make comments on videos, but I wanted to say this is my favorite beginner video I've watched so far! I bought my first motorcycle last weekend and got my permit two days ago - subscribed!
Dude... love the routes you take. Be safe out there. Nice tips. Regards from Costa Rica, Pura Vida.
Very helpful tips! thank you so much! You earn a subscriber! :D I'm so glad you mention the gear part because I see a lot of riders wearing shorts, t-shirt with flip flops in Australia.
Thank you for keeping this concise and to the point! Keep up the good work.
Not only was this a great vid for new riders. Great for all riders 👍
I am about to do my test this weekend. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! The best and most direct motorbiking video I have ever watched. And of course, I am now subscribed! Well done buddy!
I love your videos, so many people can learn from this. Especially if some get a used bike and no owners manual.
You my friend are awesome, keep the vids going.
Excellent video with some great advice. I like your clear, no-nonsense style.
Like you, I started riding street bikes about 3 years ago. I was 41 at the time. I have watched countless videos on KZread from so many different people that there is no way I could name them all. I just want to say I'm really impressed with your channel and the advice you give. I tip my hat to you. Be safe out there.

Nice vidio, most to a regular biker is standard practice, but your never to old to learn , all the best for the new yr, 🤟🤟 Xmas greeting from a biker in Perth WA
This is the single best video for new riders I have seen. I am a new rider and just got my new motorcycle so I watched this video a couple of times. Tips 1 & 2, especially, are very important (things I would never have thought of on my own).
Great video. I'm just returning to biking at the age of 50 and your tips are really useful. Looking forward to your next video. Many thanks.
Thank you for the video, Thumbs up.
All good tips to follow. 👍😎
Love watching your vids...especially when on the KVS...
Thanks bro for those precious tips. From Andalucia Spain
Your videos are well constructed. I like the examples you give and show visually are a big help. Thanks Subscribed
Thank you for these tips, I'm so close to be taking a class and then riding. Can't wait😊
Loving your videos. I made it through 47 years without any sort of licence but picked up my bike learners permit the other day. Got some gear but I'm a little short on the bike money until the beginning of January, so I've been going through a bunch of vids to get better prepared & even out the mix of excitement & fear 😂 (I do have to convert stuff from American to good old Aussie, but still a fan 😁)
All good advices, ride all safe and enjoy
Thank you this was very useful video . Also your instructions are clear and easy to understand. I appreciate your work . You a great teacher .
You deserve my sub and likes! Thanks for this informative video. It helps me learn about how to drive a motorcycle properly :D
I've just started bike lessons before I get my cbt licence. Never been on a bike before, found it pretty anxious but great. Love the videos!
Im studying for the test, and have a bike already. Thanks for the tips mate

Thanks for the refresher. Great video
Good tips again Sir, thank you :) Definitely with you there on gear and foot position, I ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs until I need to use the controls and then they're back again when the job is done, I also like how it makes me feel more connected and at one with the bike. I've been down twice, both times my own fault snatching the front brake in an emergency, since then I've been a lot more cautious and conscious of loading the suspension progressively, even though the bike has ABS, it's good riding practice. I'll give your braking tip a go though next time out and see how it feels :)
Liked and subscribed. Some great tips and a very well presented video. Thanks!
Only a few people try to keep it in brief and to the point. Only a few like you succeed.
Cool. Helped me alot. Ride safe.

Words of wisdom thank you Sr. With my full cover up helmet I look like I am going to the moon , but I feel safer and keeps my face warm on cold weather, thank you for your riding videos.
Thank you very much for this educational video I will make sure to practice your guidance and tips keep up the videos and is there any videos of getting more confident on the road as I'm new to the motorcycle life.
I've been riding for several years and I still like to watch stuff like this. Especially before spring starts and I haven't rode all winter. All it takes is 1 mistake to get hurt or killed. Always use your head and stay sharp and you should be fine. Most important piece of advice I would give someone just starting is to always expect there to be something dangerous ahead. All it takes is a few gravel or a pothole around a curve and you could wipe out. I always take it easy and watch out. And if you can't see good, don't ride. Just don't do it. You will eventually wreck because you don't see something in the road. Im always dodging gravel and grass and stuff every time I ride. My dad wrecked his scooter a few weeks ago because he couldn't see a gravel in the road and he skinned his foot and leg up really bad. All because he's too stubborn to admit he can't see good enough to ride anything with 2 wheels anymore.
Great info. No bs. Subbed and liked 👍
