The problem is that Manchester United DOESN’T lose! They keep scraping these unconvincing and undeserved draws and wins, when they should have either lost or drawn the games. They are usually either outplayed or contained for most of the game, but Garnacho or McTominay or Fernandes pulls a goal out and rescues them. In terms of overall performance; they should be in the bottom half of the table, but instead they’re in 6th or 7th place

Planned loss. The starting line up has players not in there preffered positions. Players not even on the bench, Varane, McGuire, Shaw, Lindelof, Martinez, McTomminay. Fernandez, 1st time missing a game due to 'injury'. First time in 520 games. It's all pre arranged. When your best defenders aren't starting it's easy to lose 4-0. With teams not announcing starting line ups until just before the game, the punters lose thinking that the best team is going to start. Multi bets, you can't adjust after the fact, you have to hope that the best players will start. Billions of dollars weekly at stake.

You aint a united fan you cant call for our manager to get sacked.

I still think he's got the right attitude and should be given a chance. I mean 20-25 bad games are ok if you want to build a multi year project. Same thing happened with Mourinho and others. He needs time We as supporters need to back him for atleast another 2 years. No new manager can come and do any wonders for atleast 2 seasons. Better there be some continuity.

If Erik team have player with the quality of Saliba, things would not be this bad. Erik needs more support from the owner to get a new players that actully can do the job.

The manager was meant to be doing a job. Not just be fucking around for years. This is a disgrace, if the players aren’t good enough then have the nuts to bring in new players. He has only been playing this lot for years now, most of the donuts have yet to move on from this club. Some have gotten contract extensions even and then you ask, how does it matter what this bald headed clown does. Embarrassing

Mf has spent over 400 m to top it all off. And in the process managed to dispose Ronaldo, Sancho and De gea. 😂😂😂 Ronaldo has scored more in one season than his entire frontline in the past 2 years with oh so much “potential”. Man’s a disgrace

In this game, you should treat the players as soldiers, not friends. Repeated faults need tough punishment.

He would perform at Bayern but not united who need a rebuild. A budget for a whole squad that other teams would have for 2-3 players meaning they sign unproven inexperienced players like Antony, or players who need different training levels

looking at the punchline was expecting this to be brutal, a very calm interview though almost like the interviewer had pity for the man

Problem we had in defence we should have kept Alvaro and recalled Fish.

I was one of the people who supported him until he did what he did w Ronaldo, since then saw his downfall. Jose once said, if you can’t manage the best players, how can you be a good manager? The best players ask for nothing but respect and game time that they have earned throughout their careers.

Nightmare of a job to manage expectations are high since the fergie days. Footballs changed a lot compared to then, teams like Brighton Villa Newcastle now palace are competing and it’s good to see. The top three clubs are miles ahead of Utd no matter who manages them.

I’ve narrowed down the problem. We don’t know wtf he’s saying because he speaks in riddles. I reckon the players have no idea wtf he is telling them to do either. Rashford: “want me to run down and the wing and cut in boss?” ETH: “I want you to uh be passionate and uh the sky is blue and uh the goals look like they are there today eh”

With the form he’s been on lately, even the championship treble seems unlikely.

He collapsed under gravity of big club like utd and betrayed his ideals , instead resorted to ole tactics . This is what happens when you try to reinvent new wheele on unknown territory instead of doing what you know best and what got you where you are.

Funny how quickly ppl forget how good he did last season. I reckon give him one more chance next season

Always said it from the start, someone who's only won the eredivisie with a stacked Ajax isn't able to handle a premier league team...

I kinda feel bad for him, he did an amazing job at Ajax, United is not the same club like it waw before, at this point who's fault? The owners? The coaches? The players? They had what 7/8 coaches in the last years and none of them worked despiste Mourinho winning the Europa league, today he had Evans, Casimiro hss center back, plus Wan Bissaka at left back, because of the injuries, it's not his fault today, he has a lot of players injured, and look at the first Palace goal, the players stopped running they let Olise score, it's 50/50 fault, the players and the coach, United has a problem for years, coachea come and go and the state of the club doesn't chanhe, at this point idk.

When you use the term “underperform”, it means that you are playing below your usual standards. But the fact is that MU today is not of that standard anymore, and has been so for many seasons. Your usual backline has let in prob more goals than any other team in EPL this season. Excuses excuses which team doesn’t have issues / injuries.

I understand that when a team is underperforming that ultimately the manager is the one to blame. But to be honest/fair, Manchester United has been underperforming for several managers now. You can't fully blame Erik for Manchester's misery. People will say: "Well, he bought certain players for 100 + million, he should know the quality of these players". Partially true. I know Anthony is definitely not worth 100 million, but he was playing amazingly at Ajax. Sometimes players click well with certain teams, sometimes they don't. It's always a gamble. But certain key players that have been with United for a long time should've stood up and back their manager(s). Again, I'm not a fan boy of Erik, but this teams crisis is not fully on him. Maybe they should go back to the old ways. If you underperform and not give it your all, take away their income for the game.

It seems this man tried to establish his 'authority ' by getting rid of Ronaldo Ronaldo, one of the most professional and respected players in the world - Those in the know saw this coming soon as he had an issue with Ronaldo
