It's made in the same country as other cheap but known name brands but they're sold under unknown company names its not worse than a $20 cheap Walmart reel

Can we all take a moment to appreciate that YakPak posts a video every 4 or so days instead of 2 weeks or more like the other boys. Huge respect brother, I hope this channel goes really far. I have the same bait caster and it’s held up well for the two months I’ve had it. Obviously you can tell it’s cheap, but it’s so much better than expected for the price.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that will randomly get a backlash into the reel of my cheap bait caster. Bought it for practicing but you have to uncork screw the sides of the reel to open up the spacing between the outer housing and spool to un-backlash them. I haven't tried it but it needs small plastic washers on both ends or better known as thrust plates to deflect the line during a backlash event. I was going to test the theory out by testing various thicknesses of cereal box cardboard for the washers and they buy some plastic washers to cut to size.

I bought a size 1000 Sougayilang spinning reel last year and have used it several times with no issues. Nice, inexpensive little reel!

For anyone interested in the chatterbait Zman makes a swivel head chatterbait with a free moving head. It has a wide gap hook that you can change out to smaller n bigger n you can Texas rig it on it. For the shallow specifically I bought nnused them n Florida no problems with grass or snag

Love those temu baits. Get terminal tackle from there that is on point. Chatterbaits that have worm hooks, that 40 dollar pack of mini crank baits is good stuff

I bought a haut ton reel on temu and it’s good! Just don’t buy your braid from temu, buy spider wire or something more reputable like that!

Ali express has the kastking zephyr bfs baitcaster for 43 bucks

I've used their baits all season and caught fish. Some are better than others but overall I've been happy with them. For the basically half or even 75 percent off major brands I've got to try a lot of different baits this summer too. Is it tournament quality? They have some but most is not. Is it go-to the lake and have a good time and not cry when you lose a 14 dollar lure (cause their version will be 3 or less most likely) its a great site to try new things. Especially their salt impregnated baits and scented elastec. Hardware is dirt cheap. And the scum frog knockoff I paid .89 cent for caught an 8.2 lb largemouth this past May. So I know they work! Think the boys showed us that today too!!!

I just got my Timu baitcaster, you need to twist the side of the reel opposite frome the handle and the spool will come out. I live in Scotland, we don't have any bass fishing. I'm using my Timu stuff for pike and perch. It's my 1st baitcaster so I'm going to a lot of birds nests. Great video! ❤

The pink baitcaster is so easy to fix!!!One side of the baitcaster is held by magnets, just slide it downwards and it’s off! Very nice design actually!

It looked like there was a screw behind the crank that would release one side of the baitcaster so you could get to the spool. I would have liked to have seen that purple and black buzz/swim bait used. I hope you can save the baitcaster as that looked like a really nice and smooth reel.

I bought a few things on Temu, a few underspin Colorado blade heads some crank baits a few other things and the underspin is great up here in the Midwest.

We crappie fish sometime, and we catch a ton of white bass and perch. The two best tasting fresh water fish, in my opinion.

Great entertainment video... can you do a 100$ mystery survival camping night. Each person buys mystery survival gear for each person in a box or bag and hand it to the person... what ever is in the survival box has to do over night camp with the items... must have fore starter and a form of shelter.... that would be a great entertaining video.

Nice video! Lures might be ok, but someone else was reviewing a Temu reel and had the exact same issue: the line went inside the spool....

Them white bass ARE some great eating freshwater fish. White flaky meat with less fishy smell. Just watch out for the mercury level. Great video guys!

No the line getting in behind the spool on the baitcaster it's not your fault that's a tolerance issue. That problem is caused in the manufacturing process you're able to get this product far cheaper because they get the specs and designs from higher-end companies and copy them with less quality control and looser tolerances so they can be mass-produced quickly. There should not be a gap big enough for fishing line that is rated to be used on the reel to get through.
