Tempura! Long-established restaurant visited by many Japanese during the hot summer season.

The restaurant we asked to photograph this time is Senjutei, a Miwa somen noodle store in the birthplace of somen noodles.
We had the opportunity to photograph the behind-the-scenes of the shop, from the meticulous preparation of the noodles to the somen factory, which you cannot usually see.
It was very interesting to see how dozens of kilograms of wheat are gradually stretched to produce thin, 1 mm somen noodles as time and processes go by. I was amazed at how the somen noodles made at the factory tasted completely different from the ones served at restaurants and eaten at home. The store is so famous that even the locals do not know its name, and on this day there were so many customers who came to eat with their families and friends. who know all about somen noodles, were truly delicious.     I have never seen such beautiful somen noodle presentation!! Everything they prepared loled too good to eat!! Like a work of art!!! Will be headed to Japan in late September 2023!! Can’t wait to eat all those works of art… I mean food!!!

    そうめん専門の店があるわけかあ 暑い時期は客はたくさん来るだろうけど 寒くなっても客はそれなりにいるから 店は続いているのだろうなあ

    This looks very tasty! it is the first time i have seen chilled noodles being served, i know of longton the sticky rice in the indonesian kitchen which is also tasty with saté.

    何で帯じゃなくてわざわざ麺切ってるんだろおもったけど帯のまま湯がいたから麺がくっついたりして茹で具合に差がでて食感が悪くなるのかな
