Good on ya for doing this. Chris was singular and unique in the way he mixed soft yet bluesy and vulnerable sound with powerful, surgical high falsetto that sounded full throated. You can’t win trying to cover this tune. It’s too ‘Cornell’ for anyone else to nail. You did great, though. The one thing I’d suggest is to notice Chris’s breath control. He literally never goes all out like you do in this cover. His breathe control was almost like a built in compressor. Watch his neck and jaw in any live version of the song. He never struggles. Again, great work and thanks for putting this out there. You’re very good.
