It's funny when that dude from La Smala tries to answer Hong 10's 2000 with one of his own (at 11:15 ), crashes into an audience member, and then Skim acts like a detective and is like "is that the guy?" pointing at the offending dancer. :)

I've been watching Hong 10 for a long time now but I never really liked his style. But, after this vid, this EPIC cypher, I'm a convert.

Battles dope!!! I read some of the comments and i really think that you guys are a bit young cause back in the day battles were battles there were no forgiving others all you wanted to do was show what you got and dis your opponents sets. It was violent not like these days. Battles back in the day were amazing and it's still is just ... Not like before. You know the old saying " don't judge people by the cover" la smala though is making an ass out of themselves and disrespecting 7C but thats part of bboying at-least imo. They are talented in some way most of us who watch these battles on youtube couldn't even do half of the set that la smala can do, and the typical french thing ... Drop that its getting old. Anyway stellar stuff id love to see more battles like this especially from 7C. Dizzy ftw though.

+Kevin Kwon In my honest opinion, calling someone out isn't a problem. But you gotta give everyone respect after the battle. The heat should be left in the cypher, it's not supposed to be personal. EG a fight isn't gonna break out if someone is dissed to shits in a rap battle, because it's a rap battle and whatever is said stays in the battle. Same thing should be with breaking, call them out by all means but that respect should be there all the time afterwards.

6 years later still watching it. And yes there is a lot of heat in the cypher and it's the mentality of french bboys and there are many aggressive battles like this. They just in- and exhale bboy or die.

If you didn't know, in a cypher battle, you're SUPPOSED to make do with the limited space, that's part of the rawness and that's how people threw down when there was no such thing as organized battles. If you can't do a move without hitting someone, you had to learn to control it or just not do the move. Clearly Ronnie and Dyzee are the only two that actually understand this, being from where they're from.
