@@RTOmega And there's also a sad aspect to it as well, since Rimuru doesn't _want_ to kill all these people, but he knows that they've forced his hand and he has to do it to bring back the people he'd lost. Rimuru would much rather be your friend than your enemy, but force his hand and you will learn the hard way why these two phrases exist: *"Demons flee when a good man goes to war."* and *"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man."*

someone pointed this out in a different video but rimurus megiddo is even scarier than it looks: 1. those arent just water droplets they are water spirits. he was just ale to summon them all. 2. the attack might include magic, but the actual damage is physical. meaning no magic defense could protect you from that. what rimuru did here was showcasing how scary the culmination of magic and modern scientific knowledge can be.

@@motafu1 Well I used to have a lot of trouble controlling my anger when I was younger, I didn't really cry much, but I got into a lot of fights when people would antagonize me. Generally speaking I'm not as emotional now, but when something big happens I do get emotional, like when I lost my dog, very sad time. Or when I watch sad anime, very sad time. But yeah, I don't see why you want to try and piss off the kind people, it's a damn coin flip, half the time they're too kind to get mad, the other half they will absolutely destroy you once you've pissed them off. Kinda like me in some ways, you don't make me mad, I'm very calm and usually just like to hang out and chill, you piss me off, I send you to the ER with several broken bones. (I know my reply seems a bit of a rant but recently I had some drama happen that's very on brand for this topic so I felt a bit chatty)

The scene was even worse in the ln than it was in the manga, because he was actually torturing some them, like he would cut of their limbs and let them experience immense pain before killing them off. It was just wild

@@nicklancial7103 It's actually no different in the Anime, just isn't explained at all. So, Megiddo is the first "Physics Magic" spell, a category created by Rimuru. Physics Magic is unique, as it relies on already present forces to function, only being enabled by a bit of pushing with magic. Megiddo in particular uses natural light to attack. The droplets we see are actually Water elementals created with Spirit Magic. They act as lenses for the light, focusing and directing it as an unrelenting laser. Due to the fact that the attack is physical, no amount of Magical Defense or negation will stop these lasers, which is why he can use it in the anti-magic area.
