Friendships for the most part are a waste of time. I can list countless reasons why they are manipulation. If you have time for friends why not be a visitor to kids in orphanages or to elderly or better yet get a pet, all these options are far more rewarding. People change with time especially when every person gets into a relationship or moves or other life stuff. speaking from personal experience the time you have should be invested into your significant other and bettering your skill sets.

@@hellacooook social interaction is extremely important for us as a species since we are inherently social creatures and need motivation to do actions, most of the time coming from other people. not having friends is inherently harmful to you also, because not having that motivation and things from other people leads to depression which leads to not having motivation which leads to not being able to do things normally. so it's very important to have friends in order to have good "skill sets"
