Tel Megiddo | Armageddon

Israel video tour with David Hyman, professional tour guide. Join me on this video tour to one of Israel's most important Biblical sites - Tel Megiddo. This ancient town appears in the Bible and in historic documents from Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, and Persia. Megiddo switched hands 30 times during its 5000 years and 34 battles were fought in the Jezreel valley at the foot of Megiddo. No wonder that this site was excavated more times than any other site in Israel, and is a UNESCO heritage site. In the Book of Revelation, Megiddo is the final battlefield between good and evil and is known as Armageddon. Our tour today will take us through the highlights of this amazing national park, we will see the ancient altars and temples, the palaces and gates of the massive towns, the horse stables, and the most impressive water tunnels under the city.
I will share the story of the lost ancient royal seal that belonged to an official in the palace of King Jeroboam. This beautiful seal with the famous roaring lion was used by Shema, the servant of Jeroboam. The seal was found during the first excavations of the Tel in the year 1904 and was handed to the Sultan of Turkey. The seal is missing and has never been seen, all we have is the replica.

Fascinating! Thanks. Armageddon event! I received sensitive information in Egypt & went to London Commonwealth Office (LCO) in July 1997. I was thanked & appointed to a Commonwealth project; 'To facilitate Israel joining the Commonwealth, as planned in 1919'. 'To facilitate Israel's entry into Commonwealth'. I asked WHY? LCO replied that during World War 1 (WW1), 19-25 September 1918, this battle of Megiddo (Armageddon) was fought. So, LCO decided to establish Israel after WW1 had to establish Israel. The LCO bible interpretation was 1] Armageddon, 2] Messiah, 3] Israel established & 4] Israel to be 'A light unto the Nations'. In 1918, LCO decided that time for 4] had arrived. LCO established Trans-Jordan as Palestine (89%) in 1921. Israel would be on Cis-Jordan (21%). BUT in 1922 the League of Nations took over and did not establish Israel as planned. So, LCO decided that Armageddon was fought over 100 years ago & that perhaps the Messiah had also ''Been & Gone''. Thus, that Trans-Jordan would be the Palestinian state and Israel (Light to Nations) would be all of Cis-Jordan. Nobody can prove LCO wrong. League of Nations (LON) tried. But LON failed. When the Holy Temple is rebuilt that is when God=Lord Jesus Christ's return is nearing. Which has yet to be rebuilt by the Jewish authorities. But it will be eventually at some point in the future. Before God=Lord Jesus Christ comes , it will be the anti Christ. The anti christ will even falsely claim that he is god there in the Holy Temple. It will be God=Lord Jesus Christ in His return that He will stop the anti christ's world dictatorship.

The world leaders and their armies will fight the anti Christ and his armies. As they try to rebel against the anti christ's world dictatorship. Then when they all see God=Lord Jesus Christ and his army of angels coming down from heaven , all of them will attack God=Lord Jesus Christ and His angels. And God=Lord Jesus Christ will first cast the anti Christ and his false prophet to hell and then a sword will then come out of God=Lord Jesus Christ's mouth , and that sword of His will slay the rest of the world leaders and their armies along with the anti christ's armies in Megiddo. Then one of God=Lord Jesus Christ's angels will summon eagles from heaven with the sound of his horn to devour their remains. Which this is mentioned in Revelation the apocalypse in the New Testament part of the Holy Bible.

I'm so glad your channel was in the KZread recommendations 2 weeks ago. I'm thoroughly enjoying all of your tours, David. Thank you for showing us the artifacts and the different stages of the ancient ruins. Something I find so fascinating in your tours is the models of the ancient sites, especially the ones with the high technology. They are astounding to me. I have always assumed the kings palaces would be incredibly huge with at least 2 stories. Was this one much bigger than we could see from the perspective where you were standing? If I am remembering correctly, you said King Ahab had 2,000 horses. Didn't King Solomon have 5,000 horses? Weren't his stables found along a shore somewhere? I would love to see a tour of the stables if that ever works out for you. God bless you and your wife.

Hi Linda, thanks for watching and for your support. The palace probably had a second floor but was made of mud bricks and didn't survive. I find it interesting that a foreign Assyrian source (The Kurkh monilith) talks about King Ahab the Israelite and his 2000 chariots and 10000 soldiers, but mentions nothing of King Solomon.

@@IsraelwithDavidHyman Hi, David. I don't remember how many generations where between King Ahab and King Solomon.. Everything I know from scripture is what I studied for 40 years before I developed an odd vision problem that multiples every letter and every form of light into starbursts. I've not been able to study my bibles for many years now. (I can't look it up either because I also have cataracts which require lense replacement.) Could you tell me how many years are between these kings and the pagan king?

Here's a tip for you David: show all signs completely on video, for at least a few seconds. If we want to read the whole sign, we can by pausing the video. You are showing only a portion of the signs for a second, so I can't read them entirely. You don't have to read the sign to us, just film the whole thing so we can read it if we want.
