I have been to Tel Beer Sheba it's 10 minutes from the city of Beer Sheba. It's an amazing site. It's a settlement that goes back 4,000 years and it's mentioned in the bible, several times. At some point it became a fort built by king Saul and later on Kind David made it into a town with a population of some 400 people. Although it's in the desert the site has a huge a water cistern carved out of the rock below, some 30 meters underground capable of storing more than a million gallons of water. The town was built by a wadi (dry river), which filled with rain during the winter months. In the summer, the water remained under the ground. The well (mentioned in this video) is outside the city and it's 70 meters deep, the deepest found anywhere in the Negev desert and it is believed to be one of Abraham's wells.

Abraham's obedience to God and how he was about to sacrifice his only son is such a touching story to me because his love for God was so great he was willing to do that sacrifice. His son's innocence and obedience to his father Abraham is also touching. I can't even imagine being put through this, but Jesus Christ wanted us to see what true faith truly is. ❤️🙏
