Amazing! Thank you for this. I had a sort of off topic. Question about something you did in the video. I noticed most the time you were in 3D view but I heard you tap something on your keyboard and all of a sudden you were in plan view. How do you toggle between plan and elevation and 3D view like that? It would be nice to not have to have three views open on the screen at once if I can just toggle between them.

Very cool. I really could have used that for a fabric roof on a stadium job.

Thank you Tekla for this tool. I see some questions: Is possible to create unfolded shape in the drawing of the item? Is possible to define welds on the 3D shaped edges with preparation for weld? Is possible create holes in the lofted plate? Is possible to create NC files of lofted plate? And from lofted plate with weld preparation? Than it is usable only limitted for presentation of the shape or fully for detailing.

Hello! 1. At this time, for the lofted plate, it is only possible to unfold cylindrical or conical surface made of arcs including oblique surfaces. 2. The weld solid in most cases won't work because the weld is a solid with constant cross-section and doesn't support any twisting at this time. 3. Yes it is possible to create holes. 4. It is possible to create CNC files for the supported scenarios in Question 1. Currently the automatic weld preparations won't work for most of these shapes

@@@leesnyder6784 Thank you for the presentation. Petr had the exact questions I was thinking of. Clients always request unfolded DSTV files for such parts. We also hit a dead end when trying to unfold curved plates created with "curved beam" tool. Can you tell us if we'll see a solution for these issues in the near future? Thank you.

@@2Short2Get Thanks for reaching out! For a lot of the shapes that are created by the lofted plate we haven't been able to find any standard consensus for how they should be unfolded. Could you send us/show us which shapes don't unfold and how you need them unfolded so we can create a spec to support it?

how can create a sphere of 2 radius of the tank

When I am practicing lofted slab with square to circle. Cursor will select only squares but not circles.

Since there is no 'square' I assume you're making one from the polycurve command. This is technically an 'open' shape, while the circle is a 'closed' shape. The lofted tool will not work well between them. If you instead make a large Arc that is almost, but not quite closed, you may have better results.
