Great to see it going back together. I was Staff at VP-31 back in the 1980's. Hanger 1 was a wonderful place to work. I even got to climb the dusty old stairways up to the top and climb out the rood hatch for a Blue Angels airshow. Seeing those gleaming blue A-4 s zoom past the crowd and bank away so low it looked like they were threading the buildings over by NASA Ames' wind tunnels. One time I even put in a Navy Request Chit to "Paint the hanger a light golden brown, so as to disguise it as a Giant Hostess Twinkie from the air". For some reason that chit was summarily denied, some people have no vision. 🙂

Hello Dave. After watching this tutorial on new view based drawing properties, I would like to ask you a direct question. You know, I do steel detailing based on AISC/NISD codes and recommendations. Question: Is there any way to detail horizontal and vertical braces using dimensions from work point to work point as the they are shown in the Manual 3erd edition? Also, can you help me automate drawing properties required to get this done in tekla?

The software is really good you can enter a lot of input. I dont know if you are aware of the bug in the software. When you make opening in the section, the program does not to composite action on the section. it gave wrong deflection value.
Hi Dave. Fairly new to Tekla here. This is a great edition. Still on 23 for model sharing reasons but look forward to getting into this. One thing I struggle with is the automatic connection boxes. They seem to be so complicated. Is there any chance you could do a video on some of them. Not many of the boxes have a simple function, there might be 20 odd data entry boxes and it can be a timely process to make some connections behave the way I want.

Tekla is full of copy file from this folder, save to another folder, also copy this file and edit this text file just to make something available to use in your next project. Why don’t you introduce an option to click a button to save as a template like every other program that’s made.
Video quality very bad. Recording at 360p not good. Try at 1080p and above. Content is good though.
You probably clicked on the video when it was still processing. Good quality now

I can not thank you enough for reminding me of this tool.
If I'm not mistaken, since ts2018 it was possible to change with cont.toolb. at least profile and class by selecting parts in drawing mode. If this feature is available now. Sometimes, it would come in handy, wouldn't it.
We use contextual toolbar heavily at ScaffPlan tools. It's definitely an underrated feature, I didn't like it either, to be honest, at the time it was introduced, but over time I learned how powerful it is. It can improve your daily routines a lot. Just give it a chance 😉

Why is there no option to spec a single layer of reinforcement? Come on guys, small domestic RW do not need 2 layers or reinforcement in the stem.
