Regardless of each ending, Jin and Hwoarang's paths always cross. The greatest rivals and greatest friends.

He seems like one of the most underrated(and one of the most important) characters in Tekken. He's also my main.

Gabriel it's not canon though. Why does everyone think Hwoa is so much more stronger than both Jin and Devil Jin. In that sense that would make him on par with Tekken 7s akuma. It's just stupid. Besides, it didn't happen in canon. In the story mode for T7, Jin fell unconscious in his base form before anything happened and Lars managed to save him.

3:50 he gained everyone's respect

I like that Netflix Tekken showed the friendship rivalry they have, even when the beating the hell out of each other.

it's a shame he's not more involved in the storyline considering jin is present in all his endings

I do appreciate how Hwoarang is actually stronger than Jin now, having defeated him in Tekken 5 and can even go toe-to-toe with Devil Jin. Its rare for the rival character to actually surpass the main protagonist so its a refreshing change. That said, its too bad Hwoarang is so irrelevant to the main conflict of the series. I am interested to see how Hwoarang overcomes his vision disability.

He didn't go toe-to-toe with devil Jin. He got low diffed. And he isn't stronger than Jin at all. Look at Jin when he fights seriously,he is on par with his family members. The only human able to fight the Mishima when serious is Paul.

Thr1ft From what I read and played. Hwo can defeat Jin but when Jin relies on his Devil Powers he can over power Hwo. Tekken got so many stories in em that they aint cannon. But from a guy who likes both parties members I still put money on Hwo when fighting Jin, but not betting for Hwo if he fighting Devil Jin cause that would be no point. If Hwo aquire a power like Jin power the Devil form than its permanently Hwo all the way.

Honestly he might vary well be considering he was able beat Jin in devil forme and Devil jin took out heihachi in one move.

Brandon Barrow hworang would've won... Think about it, according to THAT storyline, hworang won the tournament which means he already defeated devil Jin in the 8th round. But if you look at the actual storyline, devil Jin has 0.000000000001% chances of losing to this clown. Probably even lesser...

pelA I wish I had the answer but I don't. My guess is the mistake of believing that monotony sounds just as good in English as it does in Japanese. I want to say that's why they made him talk that way. It's not unheard of for the Japanese to coach English VAs.

Shit I remember when I first played Tekken 5 when I was like 4 and Jin and Hwoarang were my favorites. I always wonder back then if they are friends or what (only played arcade mode and can still barely understand the context of Tekken other than fighting). I'm very surprised when I figured out that they are sworn rivals when I got older and can understand the story better
