I love how Heihachi never got his demonic power like his entire family did, his father, wife, son, grandson, daughter in law. Not even in X Tekken were everyone got a Pandora power, he just got a red faced Dr. Wily look to him. He's just a strong as hell old man. Harada wrote this man very well.

Jun was never Heihachi's daughter-in-law because she didn't marry Kazuya and she didn't have the Devil Gene but rather the Angel Gene as all Kazamas do, which is why Devil Jin has black angel wings rather than devil wings as Jin has inherited both the Devil Gene from Kazuya and the Angel Gene from Jun. As for Jinpachi, even though it's been said that he didn't have the Devil Gene I've been theorising that he might have been possessed by Azazel's spirit or something.

Not gonna lie. Cried when he died. Growing up with Tekken and seeing his character truly in T7, you understand this old man more so of course the death feels more... emotional. Seeing him sorta reach for Kazuya, but then he’s gone. Gonna miss this old man.

Especially knowing both Voice Actors are gone as well, it’s sad seeing the patriarch of the Mishima Zaibatsu gone. Even if he did some messed up stuff that set the whole series in motion, you can’t deny in 7 they showed he was a power hungry man that wanted to ensure his legacy would live on by him only, no demon powers needed. RIP Daisuke Gori and Unsho Ishizuka for being the men behind the King of Iron Fist, Heihachi Mishima🙏

The tragic part is all BS and inconsistent writing by Harada. What happened to the fact that he tried to kill his grandson, raided G Corporation's facility to get a sample of Kazuya's DNA to infuse it to himself with Ogre's blood?

Heihatchi death felt real for me, too real. I knew him since I was 12 and his lore death makes me feel that I'll never see him again.

imo Heihachi was best looking in Tekken 3. His face had so much more character in it and this kind of slender/taller figure was making it feel like he's real tough. As kid I was always a little nervous when it was time to fight him and it was because of his entire character.

7:45 Kazuya's right eye looks like it's about to tear up. It's interesting how Kazuya while being affected by the devil gene seems to be able to show more compassion than Heihachi. Jun saw good in him, and in the Tag games there are always the conflicts with angel in he's mind where angel always win and that time he stopsped fighting Lars. Kazuya has a lot of tragic layers hidden in he's lore. He's father killed he's mother, lost he's grandfather, was thrown off a cliff by he's father, was set to compete against he's adoptive brother, was almost killed and lost the love of he's life while actually beginning to see the light in he's life, and after that it's implied that the devil gene took over him which also caused him continue the family feud with he's son on top of losing every material good he had. And he still shows a little bit of humanity before finishing Heihachi off.

Like how when Heihachi's still canonically "dead" to everyone else during the events of T5 they just decided to have fun with his characters and ending, and then when T7 came they were like "okay that's enough fun" and not only made him serious again, but also made him a tragic character

I feel so bad for Heihachi and Jin's relationship, I honeslty believe they'd have a great father and son dynamic if Jin didn't have the Devil gene, then Jin wouldn't have become so stupid in Tekken 6 and Heihachi would have a grandson that he could respect and feel was worthy of his lineage, if only Kazuya was able to actually sap Jin's Devil gene back in Tekken 4 but still maintain some of his own control, then Tekken 5 would be more like Tekken Tag 1 in which Heihachi and Jin both team-up to take down Kazuya resulting in Kazuya's death, don't get me wrong I love Kazuya, but Jin's life is just full of misfortune, he lost his mother to Ogre, and when Heihachi actually spoiled Jin and trained him in Tekken 3 he is backstabbed because he was seen as a threat after he beat Ogre and destroyed him. Heihachi only wanted power so that he could find ways to prevent other powerful beings from threatening the peace that he wanted to keep, at first Heihachi became a bitter asshole because of his power, but Tekken 3's ending and Tekken 7's story both prove that he only wants to do the right thing, in that regard Kazuya is the perfect villain, he's just an asshole, Devil gene or not, but Heihachi and Jin were made to be amazing counter-parts to Kazuya, so to me it would only make sense to have Heihachi and Jin team-up, I wonder if that would have actually happened if Lee didn't interrupt the Tekken Force in capturing Jin, that would have been so much more interesting.
