I don’t mind comedic endings if they’re done well and fit the character, but it felt like such a slap in the face to go from Eddy’s emotional, beautifully drawn ending in TTT2 directly to him being utterly disrespected by Lucky Chloe in T7.

3:27 the moment where Eddy felt so betrayed for the death of his master (because Jin only cared about removing his devil gene he didn't feel like curing him out of his sickness), he decided to throw away his Zaibatsu badge as an act of disrespect and hatred towards Jin He's probably like: "Damn it! All of this for nothing! I swear won't forgive him!" The poor guy needs a hug, and so does Christie

I wish in *Tekken 8* that we can have a real Storyline dealing with each of the characters not having different perspectives

Tekken 7? Wtf did they do to Eddy? Why piss on the mystique of the character like that?

Now that I think about it, Kristie’s grandpa would’ve been a great addition to Tekken 1 and 2, ‘cause it would’ve been a nice build up for the 20 years later thing in Tekken 3, introducing Eddy, then Christie in T4. He would’ve been at his prime in Tekken 1 and 2 on top of that.

To everyone who keeps asking for the relationship between Eddy and Christie, they are NOT blood related. Eddy was framed for the killing of his parents (Kazuya admitted he was responsible much later). He was sent to jail and that's where he learned Capoeira. He learned it from an old man who is Christie's grandfather. Eddy taught capoeira to Chrisite and she began mastering it as little as 2 years. They have been together like a small family but not blood related. I'm hoping Tekken 8 brings these 2 back together. But I understand her grandfather was the factor that united the 2, but nownhe is gone. I may be wrong, but I dont know why people keep saying he's her uncle. Please provide a source.

also, Christie’s grandfather would’ve been a great addition to the Tekken 1 and 2 roster. I’m pretty sure they never thought of a Capoeira fighter, but if they did, the grandfather would’ve done a great job filling that role, because 20 years later from T1 & 2, Eddie was introduced, so Christie’s grandfather 20 years then would’ve been at his prime with Capoeira, could’ve had some type of relationship or acquaintance with Heihachi, good or bad terms.

In manga, asuka kazama already figure out the capoiera's weaknesses. It's when the arm lifted his body and if you could kick his joint knee when he is swinging with leg, then he could not perform difficult unpredictable move anymore, the move will be more predictable if he keeps on

The problem with Tekken nowadays, is that they're trying to be serious, while being absolutely ridiculous and it makes the games seem like a bit of a disjointed mess. The older Tekken games had moments of ridiculousness, but for the most part maintained a serious tone. Just look at the endings for Tekken 7. Some of them are ridiculously stupid, and it doesn't fit a game, whose setting is a world embroiled in World War 3.

The beginning of Eddy's Tekken 3 ending is based on the beginning of R. Kelly's video called "Keep it on the down low".

The first time he left her was to search for Kazuya who either killed or was involved in the killing of his parents. The second time he left was to work for the Mishima Zaibatsu so they could help him find a cure for his master's illness. His master also happens to be Christie's grandfather.
