But he was aware of how corrupt and evil his father Heihachi was and would have killed him except Alisa was against it. Lars does have a soft spot for Alisa and was very angry at Jin for insulting her during Tekken 6 when Lars was forced to fight Alisa a 2nd time and took her down. But Alisa came back in Tekken 7 thanks to Lee.

Actually he wasn’t very nice in the early games and was an antagonistic villain as well to start with, it wouldn’t be until Tekken 5 and Tekken 6 where he slowly starts to change for the better and by Tekken 7 and now Tekken 8 he’s a full on hero.

If you ever saw the anime Saber Marionette J, you will agree with me in that how things are going between Lars and Alissa, that there will be a mini plot in the story be it in tekken 9 or 10, dedicated to both liking each other only for Alissa realize she is a robot, and either escape or be kidnapped by a scientist that promises her to make her human, just to be rescued by Lars and end up with her body destroyed but her memories transferred to a real human female body, probably made in a lab, as a possible vessel for heihachi/kazuya(I suspect Reina is one) ... And end up doing it like rabbits and happy ever after...

One redeeming thing I'll say about this game, it finally managed to make me like Lars. Nothing like a wholesome shipping to thawn my cold heart a little. Then again, do you know how the "Devil Jin" arcade route begins with UN killing Lars ? Wouldn't mind seeing a story line for Alisa about her dealing with her grief and broken heart. Maybe we'd finally get her and either Bryan or Devil Jin develop a relationship based on wanting the world burn.

Don't question the Bosconovitch industries. I'm sure Alisa's father gave her the life she never had before in Tekken 6.

Lee has one of the best character arcs in the franchise, IMO. Going from the stereotypical "evil adopted brother" character to being a "mysterious wild card" from Tekken 4 through 6, and then becoming a flat out nice guy to Lars and Alisa in 7 and 8. He's become the epitome of "the best revenge is living well".

I think its funny how one of the most popular ships is one with a literal robot… not a cyborg, but a full on robot. It is cute but I can’t take it 100% seriously since ya know… its a robot. Lmao

I dunno, I can understand the appeal. A robot doesn't get old and ugly, isn't going to hassle you for no reason or go behind your back. You gotta admit, it'd be a lot less difficult than having to deal with the emotional complexity of a real human being. I'd just worry about the risk of some sort of tetanus infection :/
