This further supports this prediction of Jin and Kazuya building up armies out of the rest of the cast! *>Panda is revealed,* and her story involves her joining Xiaoyu in the search for Jin! So perhaps Claudio's team of 3 will actually be a team of 4! *>4 minute Story Mode teaser!* - This teaser shows that Jin and Kazuya's fight in the city is NOT the final battle, and is actually closer to the start! Just how I predicted! Jin also states he will rid the world of the devil gene, to which Kazuya responds "you'd even deny yourself?" potentially alluding to, or foreshadowing the idea of Jin actually deciding to keep his devil gene as I predicted! *HALLOWEEN 2023* *>Zafina, Lee, Alisa, and Devil Jin are revealed!* Zafina appears to be struggling even more with controlling Azazel as I predicted. Devil Jin suggests atonement through solitude, implying Jin will not take up a position of power after his journey here is complete, also as I predicted! Lee is in combat gear, but he doesn't at all appear to be hiding his identity. So the undercover G corp soldier plotline I predicted for him may not come true! *NOVEMBER 1ST* *>Character bios for Zafina, Lee, Alisa, and Devil Jin are added to the site!* Alisa and Devil Jin's bios are very vague and do not confirm nor deconfirm anything in this prediction. Lee's story confirms that his new outfit is an enhanced battle suit, and not stealth/undercover armor like I predicted for him. Zafina's story is 100% as I predicted. Struggling more with Azazel's power and seeking out Claudio for aid who is working with Xiaoyu! *NOVEMBER 2ND* *>Victor is revealed!* Victor's dialogue in his reveal trailer implies he's on the good side, that he has a history with and connection to Raven, and that he desires to be a world leader and restore peace and balance. All 3 of which I predicted for him! Hours later, Victor's bio has been added to the website and confirms him as the actual founder and leader of Raven's team! *NOVEMBER 12TH* *>Reina is revealed!* Her trailer shows her referring to Jin as "senpai" implying she knows him, and is possibly going to train/spar with him in the story! Her aggressiveness towards Kazuya also implies she is NOT on his side! Both of these fit my prediction! *DECEMBER 12TH* We see the first chapter of Story Mode! It seems my tutorial prologue theory didn't make it! But the city battle being confirmed as Jin and Kazuya's first confrontation, and Jin losing this fight and being blasted into the ocean definitely fits my prediction! I however did not expect The King of Iron Fist Tournament to come into play considering it was cancelled in Tekken 7's story and not even mentioned in 6's. Gameplay previews also show a moon stage! Perhaps the true final battle will take place on the moon instead of that isolated stormy island we saw in the teaser trailer! *DECEMBER 14TH* The final(?) Story Mode trailer has been released! There are some things in this trailer that match my prediction! For example, the Xioayu, Claudio, and Zafina team up! With Panda included! Then there's Jin training with his mother and facing Kazuya while Lars and the rebellion are holding off G Corp's forces! But then there's some extra stuff I didn't expect! Characters such as Steve and Azucena getting involved in the main story at all! And I'm still blown away that I didn't even think of the possibility of The King of Iron Fist Tournament! Jin also developing mental blocks on his powers is also missing from my prediction, but is a very much welcome part of his development!

Sounds about right! Pity that Asuka Kazama isn’t explored more though…

I feel like you pretty much predicted the entire story since Tekken story had never been too complicated to begin with, but I've got a few objections: Harada and Murray clearly stated last December (when the second trailer was released) that Kazuya is better at controlling the Devil Gene and is also a more experienced martial artist. Therefore, I'm not really pleased with the downplaying of Kazuya (in this video) in his confrontation with Jin, where he has to resort to trickery or some kind of distraction, and so on in order to win. I suspect that their final fight will end up with Jin winning and sparing Kazuya to break the cycle of hatred. Although personally, I would prefer if the fight ended in some sort of draw, because Jin has already won too many times in the past.

I might be high as a kite to believe this, but I don't believe Devil as a character was retconned entirely. Claudio's page in the official site mentions that he wants to defeat Devil, and there's been some hints in Tekken 6 dialog with Devil Jin that Devil is the one in control of Jin mostly in that form. Maybe he'll make a return, and we might see whatever is left of Kazuya reform? But then again, Kazuya's kinda been molded to become pure evil at this point, so essentially Devil doesn't even need to tamper with him, he's already the perfect agent.

Kazuya isn't as strong as Jin though. Claudio says in Tekken 7 that Jin's devil is stronger. Kazuya also had to throw Heihachi in the JACK robot army to escape Honmaru in Tekken 5. AND he lost to Lars and used a flashbang grenade to run away in Tekken 6. When Jin lost to Lars, he turned around and one-shot an egyptian deity LOL. Kazuya is a dirty fighter and absolutely has to resort to cheap tactics to make up for his lack of power. He's done it so many times before.

@@Mashudes Honestly a Versus Series style video for Tekken sounds interesting, though I think Kazuya by 8 might be more powerful than his previous appearances despite him being past his prime. He took over the world according to the Tekken 8 site, so he might have gotten stronger since his close victory over Heihachi. I do believe Jin’s the stronger combatant, though. He survived a bullet to the head.

Highly interesting and well-developed predictions! Although a few things that I want to note here are: a) Since Azazel is the origin of the devil gene, once you kill Azazel, there would be no devil gene after all (as T6 Jin's main objective was to resurrect Azazel and kill them to put an end to the catastrophes happening in the world and the devil gene itself). This aspect would necessarily mean that even if Kazuya and Jin get their final fight after all of the battles, they won't have access to their devil gene whatsoever because it simply won't exist at that point. Nevertheless, it would be so interesting to see their final fight with their pure power and expertise on their own martial arts! b) I personally think that Reina would not likely to fight on Jin's side nor Kazuya's side but take a role as a third-party or independent power, given that she will apparently act as a central point of depicting the "hidden side" of T8. Of course, the "main side" of T8 is Kazuya vs. Jin that FINALLY tries to put an end to the conflicts and chaos all over the planet, but if you are trying to discuss about the hidden/reverse side of it, you must bring another variable to the story; and that is apparently Reina. It's already confirmed by the devs that Reina is definitely a character with evil characteristics and charisma, so I find somewhat puzzling that such an evil character can willingly cooperate with the protagonist, Jin, in the first place (speaking of the "hidden side," maybe the true protagonist can be Reina at the end of the day). I really think that Reina should be fighting both Jin and Kazuya so that it would be quite simple for Bamco to develop a new storyline for T9 (if such a thing exists) like Jin vs. Reina or even Jin vs. Hachijo Family vs. Reina and so on. Anyway, I really enjoyed watching your video, and I also want to see your comments on my thoughts as well!

Loved this!! I think a lot of what you talked about could possibly be seen, my only concern is where to go after these events? Tekken 8 is setting up so much it’s difficult to try and picture how things will go down and how to set up for the future. Ugh I can’t wait, awesome video man!

I'm curious on what you think in terms of how they will explain Akuma's presence in Tekken 8, since the last time we saw him, he was battling Kazuya in the Volcano stage after Heihachi's ultimate death. Let's also keep in mind that Akuma is not even confirmed dead, because they didn't even show his body being killed off. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even be suprised if the Special Chapter in Tekken 7's Story Mode, both of them survived the fight, and that he's waiting again for Kazuya to get stronger again soon or something. Also, the Journalist is a very crucial factor in the entire T7's Story Mode, to the point where it feels like he's the main protagonist in there. I also wouldn't even be suprised if they soon reveal his face on who the Journalist exactly looks like very soon. IMO, I feel like The Journalist will also return back in Tekken 8's Story Mode, but we'll see what happens.

I hope Emotionless Passion plays in the final battle between Jin and Kazuya, that’d make the fight more epic.

good prediction. although i predict that Jun would Save Zafina from Azazel's control. however. due to the amount of power. June becomes Unknown. meaning both Jin and Kazuay would have to join forces to stop her. during the fight. realizing he is too far gone like his old man. Kazuya sacrifices himself to save Jun from the Devil Gene. which ends up killing the both of them in the proccess. then we get the epiloge with Asuka watching a tape Kazuya recorded. revealing to the audience stuff both Kazuya and Asuka we're aware of. such as Asuka being Kazuya's and Jun's second child. and stuff that only Kazuya knew. such as that there are more supernatual humanoids besides the Devils, Angels and Exorcists. such as Vampires(Lili and Eliza), Dragonborns(Feng), Yettiborns(Dragunov) and Ghouls(Raven and Revenant). he also apologizes for giving her up to adoption 7 years prior due to the rise of Ogre. and pleads her to take care of her brother.

Honestly I've had thoughts about the story being exactly like how you're describing. People had a theory that Reina would be the one to "kill" Jin but I think it should be Kazuya.

Ehh, I don't see Reina actually being relevant to the story. My guess is that either she's another illegitimate child of Heihachi's, or a test subject with Heihachi's dna.
