Honestly, I love the positive route they went with for Jin and Eddy's relationship. Jin genuinely feels remorse that Eddy's master wasn't able to overcome his disease or keep his promise to help, but there's no bitter resentment or blaming anyone for his death.

Being a war criminal doesn't mean that you can't have positive character development or healthy relationships with other characters. That prevents characters like Jin from being one-sided and bland.

Man Eddy's growth aligns so much of What the main story was about. Moving on from the Past, the fact that He sort of forgives Jin and Feels remorse with his own actions and Job is very cool.

Now it connects together with the characters he got in contact with

Eddy and Nina getting along just makes me picture them hanging out in the Zaibatsu's café when they worked for Jin in Tekken 6. Who would say that she is a better co-worker than a sister AND mother.
