Proof that in Tekken, a controller is just about comfort. Don't let people say a controller is holding you back, no matter what you use. I play pad, and I press the buttons with my thumb (no claw), and guess what? I can do anything a stick player can do just fine. Thanks for the hand cam, mate, nice execution.

Dualshock Gods 🤙🏽

Its the white controller specifically, the pad buttons are softer and more comfortable vs using the regular black dual shock controller pads which are tougher and need more effort for inputs. I noticed this because I have the same controller as this guy and doing PEWGF is a little more relaxing with it.

@@darkR1der1312 Idk because as a mishima pad player im pretty sure even you run into that part where the pad buttons get worn out to the point where d/f input doesn't go through. I've gone through 4 of the black controllers because the d/f buttons got all worn out from wave dashing. I still have the same white controller for 2 years and I still have no problems doing pewgf at ease.

I did get to the point where the pad buttons got worn out with both my ps3 pad and my ps4 pad. I could still play with my ps3 pad, although my muscle memory changed because the pad buttons were very soft. I did have the problem you mentioned (in my case the right dpad button didn't go through) with my ps4 pad. But I opened it up, cleaned the membrane under the pad buttons and it was good as new. Idk what to tell you about the black ps4 pad, I've never had one for long periods of time.

Im a ds4 pad player myself, my multiple pewgf isnt consistent since theres microsecond delay on directional button membrane to reset after being pressed. How do you solve that issue?

How long does you dpad last tho? Mine breaks after 1 or 2 months.

Traditional d-pad. There was one time the right directional button wouldn't work (last year I think). I opened up the controller, cleaned the membrane under the directional buttons and it was good as new. If this was your problem, then you can try doing the same or you can find ds4 membranes on the internet instead of buying a whole new controller.

No it won't. When the pain starts, I put the controller down. I haven't had an issue to this day. Know your limits!

I’m thinking of picking up T7 soon, I have a fight stick but am much more comfortable with a pad on mortal kombat 10 and 11, is Tekken harder on pad compared to fighting stick? You seem good enough with a d4 controller so I’m thinking I’d be better off using one as well

Whatever controller you pick up, you'll learn. If you have both, I suggest you try both of them out and see what you feel most comfortable with.

I would very much like to but sadly I don't have enough free time for those. However, I did go to a dojo event which was streamed live. The matches are somewhere on the internet. If you look hard enough, you'll find them :)

I can pewgf and do 5 ewgfs on pad but your just so good

Thanks! Actually there is a "trick" that I use. I use the tip of my thumb to press f and then I use the whole upper surface of my thumb to press df. That way, I make sure not to accidentally press d or f instead of df. It doesn't always work, but it helps. This applies to pewgf and otgf.

I just pointed the camera at my hands and used geforce's shadowplay, which lets you record gameplay and use your camera simultaneously.

I don't know why people can't believe that Mishima's can be played on pad. I always played on pad with Mishima's and can perform WD and EWGF regularly. Though after an hour or so my fingers hurt and need to rest, which I think isn't the case for stick?

Stick players strain their wrists. I personally have to watch out for my tricep, which I find myself straining the most. Sometimes my wrist gets tired as well.
