Resident evil 4 has two different modes of gameplay aside mercaniries. Especially ada backstory. Tekken 5 had devil within story mode 3d for Jin kazama.

Tekken 7 is good, it's a combination of all Tekken games, just wish it had non-canon characters like Jun/Unknown, Angel, P. Jack, Jinpachi, actual playable Devil Kazumi etc...

The fact, that they took jin kazama stage music from tekken 3, remixed it and put it in the first level, gives me goosebumps.

Yakuza is the best game for you

I was always scared shitless of this mode, reasons are the black memory saving screen, which would usually freeze, the intro, and Levels 3, 4. The creepy music, eerie sound effects, and as a kid, I would always fall into the pit and/or got hit by kinetic platforms, and I had that weird feeling that something will happen to me if I will die in-game. There was also this heartbeat effect with feedback if you was receiving big damage. It's like you could feel what Jin felt in the moment. 10/10 great immersion

@@Yukon_83 you unlocked Devil Jin iirc one of three ways, logging a certain amount of hours in the game, beating Devil Within, or unlocking all the other characters. I might be wrong but I know there was multiple ways to unlock him

I remember playing this when I was like 7. This shit was mad long because I was a little kid and it took me a while to figure out the puzzles, doorways, shit ton of enemies. The enemies were so damm annoying. They were strong af. Idk how I beat the game. I always been a gamer but i remember final boss Ogre looking way wayyyy bigger.

I played this as a kid and never came forward at the Temple (22:25) . Now I see why.. I never knew what I needed to do.. Now I know.. Jumping up (28:17). Finally I can sleep in peace. I would try it again but the PS2 is broke since 2010 or sth like that. But I still think I came far for an a 6-8 year old xD

I can't believe I 100%ed this to collect everything. I replayed levels for any collectible I missed. It was repetitive as hell but man was I obsessed as a kid.

Back when games were games and not movies.

Love the first track. I loved this mode. We need more tekken modes like this. Everyone isn't trying to be some esports, frame God master online.

The memories! I remember being so hyped to roam as Devil Jin as a kid I was actually messing around with the menu after I finished all the stories and i somehow fell into that mode lol 28:15 that part... I was stuck there for a long time because i didn't look over Jin's head 🙃

The Ogres should have been playable in Tekken 5 Ogre could have been a sub-boss to Jinpachi for Jin the same way Heihachi was to Kazuya and Wang

This minigame played a big part in my childhood

THIS WASSSSS MYYYY CHILDHOODDDDD

The ending to this mode is an interesting one to comprehend. Assuming it's canon (which it probably isn't) it sorta makes you wonder if Jin has control over his Devil form now afterall, like he brags about during Devil Jin's playthrough or like he almost seems to in Tekken 6 and onward. The light the text mentions could be his mom or maybe the Kazama blood within him... but on the other hand, he was never as dickish as he was in Tekken 6 up till now so maybe it's the DG playing tricks on him (as devils are one to do) or maybe, just maybe that light is helping him keep what's left of his morality or judgement or whatever you wanna call from being corrupted, explaining that even the awful things he's done had good intentions, however bonehead they may be. I don't think it matters either way, since Devil Within isn't an essential part of the overall story, but it's an interesting beast to consider in hindsight.

The bonus game 鉄拳TEKKEN 5 truly needed was a Scenario Campaign mode (co-op beat 'em up). Devil Within on the other hand should've been a PS2 stand-alone spinoff on its own where it's an open-world M-rated game starring Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima as playable protagonists. Jin's story mode being a River City or Yakuza-like adventure and Kazuya's being a Grand Theft Auto-like crime spree. Also Heihachi Mishima as a major boss and unlockable character after the entire game is 100% complete.

Nossa que nostalgia, adorava jogar esse modo!!! Pulo Duplo, passar de fase, combos de socos e chutes e o modo Devil Jin que disparava um laser pelos chifres, meu Deus que coisa boa esse jogo. Tekken 5 com certeza marcou a vida de muita gente, pena que o cd já tá riscado de tanto que eu jogava! Cadê os BRs que jogavam Tekken? 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Não dá pra esquecer dos dois brasileiros capoeiristas nesse jogo o Eddy Gordo (apelão) e a Christie Monteiro!

I remember almost beating The Devil Within, until I quit that game mode, because the final boss kicked my ass so much back when I had the game & when I was younger as well.

I remember getting dizzy playing this non-stop 😂 Was a kiddo back then. Also this is the first game where I actually parkour in a 3D space.
