Tekken 5 was my childhood, such a nice soundtrack and awesome stages.

T4's visuals and ambient were really beautiful, but the gameplay was really a disappointment for most fans. Funny how games that weren't received that fondly on launch now are cult classics.

Tekken 6 is great, but Tekken 5 is iconic especially the soundtrack, and has the best character art imo.

I think Tekken in general has beautiful soundtracks from the Arcade to the Console versions I love Tekken in General and it was my childhood and to this day I play . I can’t pick a specific era in Tekken I love all of it!!!

Tekken 6 to me character art looked a lot cleaner, T5 they all looked midget like and cartoonish.

Harada could probably set up a TEKKEN concert event and I’m pretty sure a lot of people would be happy to pay for it. The series has some INSANELY good music behind it!

There was a weird orchestra concert back in like 2016 where they performed Moonlit Wilderness. It was like a concert for everything Namco. But I have been unable to find anything about it other than the announcement.

Tekken 2 in the Arcades was where I started. Tekken 3 has a strong place in my heart while working at Sea World as a teen and playing it in the arcades there. But Tekken 4 has my heart. Enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2001 and had it in the junior Marines club in 29 Palms California. And not by coincidence; the base commander was a fan of Tekken and personally ordered it from Japan.

Props for Harada from being a VA to seeing more in this series and directing it. By Tekken 3 you could really see the concept bloom already, which is incredible given it started as a "3d model showcase"... With pretty terrible models (albeit understandable for its time) Now he's earned it though. He can put "Yacht racing" in his hobby list.

Back then, I distinctly remember Tekken 3 feel like cutting-edge technology, including the character models. Sure, it doesn't look by today's standards, but back then, closest 3d model comparisons were the likes of Resident Evil, Syphon Filter, and Metal Gear Solid. Compare those to Tekken 3, and Tekken had it by a long mile.

Tag Tournament 1 (Arcade) was running on a modified Tekken 3, which was made for the PS1. When the game was made for consoles, the PS1 was obsolete for the PS2, thus they updated the models, stages, music and presentation to reflect the new hardware.

Tekken Tag 1 was the first Tekken I played, but Tekken 6 was my first game i owned and I loved the crap out of the theme. I even platinumed it on ps3. I know most hate SFXTK, thats the only game were you get to play Street Fighter versions of Tekken characters. Marduk never felt so perfect in 2D.
