That's where we saw the boon of gaming graphics and tech, the tech was so minimalistic yet drew powerful scenery, meanwhile we have cutting edge tech RTX 4090 that barely managed to run Starfield solid 60fps without depending on DLSS.

I immediately set this as the track for G-Corp Helipad at Night in Tekken 7.

Tekken 4 and Tag 1 only had 2 tracks from their games each and those games specifically don't get justice for their soundtracks. Overall the OST added to Smash is pretty good a whole 38 songs. But man instead of Tag 1's opening theme as good as it is, could've went with Ogre's theme and/or Yoshimitsu's but I'm just nitpicking at this point lol

I guess the fullest experience i've got with this song was night driving to the top of a parking lot to stare at a beatiful star spangled cloudy sky while listening to this track.

If there's something I dislike people saying about Tekken 4 was that it was the "dark" Tekken, it's the ONLY Tekken game where no attempted murder happened, if anything, Tekken 4 was just more down to earth, the locations were realistic, the character designs were slightly more modern and toned down and the gameplay was supposed to be a step into what would be more akin to a realistic fight, relying on pokes and positioning, it wasn't perfect, but it was certainly ambitious and I really enjoyed it for what it was, back then and to this day. If you wanna see "dark" Tekken, go to Tekken 2, the story for Tekken 2 was actually really grim when you think about it.

Tekken 4 had a rizz like no other. It was sophisticated, dignified and mysterious.

I'm going to say this, while Satoru Kosaki's tenure at Namco was short, he made some very powerful, catchy, memorable and even emotional compositions in Tekken 4 and 5. They were among my favorites, especially this track and ' Touch and Go'.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that the whole atmosphere was different when this game came it. What made the atmosphere so different was that it came out in an era that was so fresh within the entertainment business. The music of the 2000’s, the games released for consoles like ps2/Xbox/GameCube and style of clothing all were on a different level compared to the previous years. People started exploring the internet more and discoveries were made left and right. This all contributed to the era we consider one of the most memorable.

Tekken 4 as a whole embodies not just a new generation of video games, but the very turn of the century it was a part of along with other games like Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X. Nowhere is this more evident than in this very track itself. It really does capture the mystery of the early 21st century.

I remember the morning I got my PS2. Tekken 4 was a part of it. It felt so incredibly futuristic and beautiful. The startup screen... The faded vocals... The early to mid 2000s are unforgettable for me. Nothing will ever come close.

It's unreal at how good this song still is 22 years later, Tekken 4's music was like the fucking pinnacle for atmospheric fighting gaming music. Definitely not my favorite game in the series, but the music in this game especially. Is so good!

Tekken 4 and 5 are my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. ☯️ By the way Tekken 4 had the best story and atmosphere no doubt. Also my favourite Tekken Intros of the series are 4 and 5. Especially Tekken 4, developers did a lot of things incredibly right, most storylines were incredibly cool and the atmosphere and seriousness was just on a another level. I don't think most would disagree that Tekken 4 had a great"everything-except-the-fighting" to it. Great and Epic soundtracks, unique character designs, good individual stories, and an interesting main Mishima arc revival. The thing is that it's still a fighting game and no matter how great everything else is, if the fighting bit is flawed it'll overshadow the positives. Tekken 4 is sourly the most unique and underrated (mostly because of the choices that hindered the competitive scene) but it is my favorite Tekken to date, because of the very seriousness Vibes of the Story aspects perspective. The seriousness atmosphere of Tekken 4 it's on another level in my opinion.The soundtrack is what gets me the most next to the game's atmosphere. With soundtracks like: Fetus(Prologue), Authentic Sky, Unihabited(Mall Area) Didgerhythm(Jungle Area) Touch and Go(Airport Area) and Kitsch(Beach Area) and The Inner Shrine(Hon-Maru Temple) and others soundtracks, For me Tekken 4 remains even in these days the most Unique Tekken game of the series. ☯️

They really need to do a Tekken 4/5/6 Remaster. Would buy it for just Tekken 4 alone though lol.

Always gonna hold a special place in my heart. Game kept me entertained for hours during my childhood, and as someone said made the ps vibe so much better. Favorite ost by far still plays in my head from time to time.

This, Moonlit Wilderness and Ogres Tekken Tag theme music. They do not make tracks for the Tekken OST as great as those 3 anymore.

To be fair, there were a few Tekken games that didn't even have any of their original tracks put into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, such as Tekken 3D Prime Edition and Tekken Mobile.

The one thing I don’t like is that the iTunes version of the Tekken 4 soundtrack does not include the drums in its version of the song. I always consider them half of the appeal.
