Often it’s not an algorithm problem but TP are actively removing your designs from the search. There is very little you can do about it. That’s actually what Support tells you…

Nothing will work. My designs are not showing. I contacted TP, they said all storefront do not appear in search results. They also said your design will not appear in future also. So I can't do anything.

I received exactly the same Message. So 4vmonths after they are always doing the same thing to users. I thought with Redbubble they were the best in the market... what a pity...

Been watching a lot of your videos. Great work and easy to follow. thanks. I have a question ... is there a site that you use or recommend to keep all your work/graphics organized for storage or do you just keep everything on desktop hd? i mean i could just use dropbox but is there a better choice. My ipad is getting full :( Anyway thanks again. i came back and added to this but i have alot of finished drawings and art on procreate but they are like 3400x3400 and i know that i have to go back and redo most if i want to add to t-shirt. Do i need to make them vector like with affinity designer. Cause that means im going to have to learn that program lol. Or should i just slow down and learn it and then go back to making designs? sorry just so many questions but those are main ones. thanks

I'll try to answer all your questions.... I have a separate 5TB hard drive that I keep all my work, I can access it remotely from my computer. It works kind of like a dropbox but I don't have to worry about my storage limits. As far as 3400x3400 goes it's a little small for t-shirt designs... I would make them 4500x5400 at a minimum. You don't need to make them vectors but vectors scale without any problem so it does make it easier. Some people create in pixels and do just fine with Photoshop or Procreate... just make sure it's the right size to start. You can always size down with pixels but not size up. Hope that helps

I contacted the TP support as well after having some really good months and now it's gone back to around 80 dollars a month. They said the search is now more relied on tags matching ....that sucks.

Juna good afternoon. I think the best thing to beat this POD thing is to have your own online store. More revenue in your pocket plus I am living in Jamaica and going to different events I carry some designs and with tourists, I just give them the link which is shared so it better audience. We all need to think outside the box with too many limits on our own designs when most times you spend hours doing your designs only to get up and lose your store on these sites.

I consider this company to be unethical. They exploit the designer's work for free and give you the option to be included in their website search or not, as they please. Furthermore, they block your store from search engines by adding a "noindex" tag in the page code, indicating that they are not interested in you selling through their traffic. I wrote them a letter, and their response was standard: "Promote through social media if you want to." So, I'm supposed to generate traffic for them through social media and create designs for free? No, guys, with this approach, self-respecting individuals will not work with you.

Yeah it's so sinister. I've had a fully fleshed out shop for 3 years with zero sales, and only now I realize my designs aren't showing up on searches, even if search results are all on one single page only. One would think that they would just deny you to open a store on their site if they don't like your stuff, but nope. They exploit you to the max, and make you waste your time and effort by essentially shadowbanning you and still benefitting from your hard work if you against all odds advertise enough to make a sale or two. RedBubble exploits their artists in other ways but at least I have sales on their site, and my designs come up in searches.

One correction Juna at 03:50 you typed product title in search, teepublic search didn't work that way, teepublic only show results based on the main tag, try typing your main tag in teepublic search your pizza design sitting on top, teepublic title is only useful for seo Or in other words teepublic title who bring google traffic.

@@jakemorden8544 before enable search option they review you account if your designs didn't upto the standard than they won't activate search option on account, they prefer good designers over average ones, and in sone cases they limit accounts from countries too like India, Pakistan Bangladesh accounts less preferred.

I was looking for this mention about the main tag :) TP puts a lot of weight on it, then the first 3 secondary ones and after that the title and description. Also the tags need to be short ones, specific and not repeating, no plurals etc.. That's what I noticed

I have done everything that you mentioned in this video and I do have more than 600 designs in my store and also I try to make designs that people want to buy cause before doing any design I always go to Etsy and amazon and try to research about what kind of designs are people buying? My designs are not showing up, moreover, my google analytics is almost empty. Hardly 1 or 2 people visit my store. For this reason, I stopped uploading there. So if no one visits my store how do I get sales and will I still continue to upload there?

Great question.... I try different styles than what you are doing to see if that works.... you can also try to share on social media but make build a following first and not just advertise

Love the videos, thanks for the insights. I emailed.TeePublic, they responded right away with a canned emai. They told me they will not add me to the search and good luck on my own. Very, very disappointing. I set up my storefront, albums, and have over 25 designs and told them I would be adding more. My guess is they are being very selective from now on.

Don't waste your time on them. Start building your own store. It's the best investment of your efforts and resources. I spent six months creating designs and didn't earn a penny. They replied to all my emails with the same response, without even bothering to explain why. Are they even professional businessmen?

Yeah... It's a standard email they send everyone.... I would hope that if our designs are good enough they will be shown... How else would they keep TeePublic new and fresh?

@@DetourShirtsThey should hire you. ;) Agree with your logic, but when I choose New Tees On Sale and put in some keywords I've used, I see mostly the same items I've seen for a while. I got rejected by Amazon Merch again. I'll keep trying but I have to create a new email because the application prevented me from using an email I had already used. I think I'm going to try Etsy in the meantime. Just tough to get traction if you're starting out now with TeePublic being unhelpful and Amazon Merch being very picky.

As far as the main photo and cover photo. I cannot get it to load because I do everything from a cell phone. Is the option only available on a computer or laptop.

I also noticed recently my designs not showing and I have the account in teepublic for over 2 years. since they change to the artist categories I started noticing that I don’t know if that’s related. Would appreciate your perspective.

I'm not sure it's always related but it can be... TeePublic kind of chooses what designs show in their marketplace so it's never a guarantee for all designs showing up

But still I started 2 months ago, still very fresh, I have 57 designs in TeePulic and non of them is showing in the surch. Not very encouraging.

i'm in the same boat but it just made me refocus on being ACTIVE with my own promotions.. yeah it would be nice to get random sales like when i buy my shirts on the site.. but i look at teepublic saving me from not having to maintain inventory.. i can just focus my energy on promoting the page and coming up with designs.. teepublic is focused on selling tshirts, not selling art.. that's their business model. but i made money without investing upfront so it's 100% profit for me as long as i self-promote..

Have you heard about any issues with Teepublic's watermarks? I have them ON on settings but the designs dont show the watermark.

I reached out to TeePublic, I have albums, a cover photo, storefront icon, 20 designs up. I reached out to support and they told me, in short, "Unfortunately, your storefront and designs will not show up in search, or on the "new" or "browse" areas of the site." Further on, "At this time we do not have any further information to provide, nor will your storefront be considered for re-review. Although we will not answer any other questions related to the search function, please do let us know if you have any other questions unrelated to search, and we will be happy to help." And they best reason they could come up with is Search Engine Optimization reasons. It's frustrating because I don't even know they exact reason why nor will I get chance to reapply. I'm probably going to move away from TeePublic since I just started. I'm disappointed in their "Artist Success Team"

I got the same reply today. They also wrote "At this time we do not have any further information to provide, nor will your storefront be considered for re-review." The only thing I can do is start another store using only my best designs so I have a better chance. But probably not worth wasting my time trying.

I think that is just a blanket statement they tell everyone because it's not a guarantee to ever appear in search or on the site.... but I believe that if you have something really good they will have to show it... how else would they keep their store fresh?

Your storefront wouldn't necessarily show up on TeePublic unless you used it as a tag.... try searching for a design instead.... use the full title

check you storefront html code for existing of noindex tag, that is mean your storefront will not be visible even for search engines, do not waste your time

I fucking hate this business so much. Not only are we up against the algorithm, but we also have people arbitrarily shadowbanning our content because they personally don't like it. I've had my shop for 3 years, over 40 full color designs that I worked very long and hard to perfect. Still no sales whatsoever, and none of my products come up in search. Instead I see garbage designs that somebody scribbled down on a napkin and took a photo, plagiarized movie posters and game cover art. Now it all makes sense because I theme my shop on satirical, meme-like designs that sometimes deal with controversial political issues that question sometimes the establishment. My storefront has been fully fleshed out since day one. Somebody just doesn't like what I put out and has decided to silence me. I've written to teepublic and they either don't respond, or claim nothing is wrong with my storefront, and that things should come up in search shortly. Never does. Redbubble may not be perfect, but at least all my stuff comes up in searches, and has sales.

Even if they did respond it's unlikely to be helpful, cuz I reached out to them they emailed me back quickly actually but nothing helped me, they said we're happy to host your designs and do your marketing...😅 but I'm getting sales a lot of them from Google

I think you are wrong in it teepublic will gave you result based on the main tag not on the title

Teepublic is a huge waste of time. I uploaded some high quality designs, checked, not searchable. I contacted support and got an answer that my store won't appear in search results but I can still sell. So basically you need to do all marketing for yourself, with no organic traffic whatsoever to get $2-4 for one t-shirt. What kind of deal is that? Not to mention that ton of copyrighted sh1t is not a problem for them, this site is a$$

there's an easy way to make your designs show up , this methode is getting an affiliate link from a publisher that has sales on tee public , if you gave us your affiliate link to create accounts it would be very helpful for us , thank you guys like this comment to make him see this

Sorry for my bad English but i have sent an email to teepublic i have got an email which says they have received my mail where i have asked why my designs are not showing and they have even mentioned that if i have Apprentice accounts then they can't display my designs and they will not going to reply to my email or explain why its not showing
