Even my naughty extroverted pomeranian knows when I'm sick or depressed and totally changes her demeanor and becomes very sweet and comforting. Even with my best friend. But, once I'm well and feeling better.... all betts are off again!!

Such a beautiful, uplifting story. Some things are simply meant to be.

This is so heartwarming! I had a baby kitten come up on me, climb my pant leg and suckle my earlobe. His mother abandoned him, I took him…he wouldn’t do a bottle so I made gravy for him and vitamins. He was sickly like and thin for a long time. Today I have a beautiful 5 year old cat who is active and healthy. He loves his momma and follows me anywhere. He hunts and plays with his brother. It’s been a blessing to me

This is totally reminiscent of my buddy, Mr. Bungle, who came to me in a terrible storm in 2010 and has been my friend and companion ever since. Thank you for saving him and seeing his true worth. You’ll always be happy for the time you spent with this little guy!

It is amazing how many people don’t think that they are Cat people, until they have one. Then all doubt disappears and happiness takes it place, and some. Thank you Jo! And you two are a great team! I have to say that watching Leo climb back into his backpack was awesome, he’s definitely a smart guy! And he never skips leg day!!!

This guy, Jo, is an angel in human form. What a beautiful relationship they have. The love between them is a joy and blessing to see, and for them both. It was so moving to hear him say he didn't want Leo to ever feel abandoned, and it's clear Leo feels the same about Jo. Such sensitivity in humans and animals is indeed a little slice of heaven on earth.

I rescued 2 kittens that couldn't have been more than about 5 weeks old ...... if that old. I couldn't keep them (many many details there) ...... after failing to find a no kill shelter to take them, a friend of mine said he would come get them and give them to his mom (she did kitten/cat fostering for her local humane society group ....... he drove 2 1/2 hours to get those kittens (around 450 miles round trip)....... and they never made it to his mom's house because he fell in love with them during the trip home ...... and both of those kittens bonded with him so strongly ..... every evening when he would stretch out in his recliner he had 2 warm vibrating bodies snuggled with him ...... he told me later that they were a source of comfort and therapy that he didn't know he needed ......

So difficult to write with tears in my eyes.. 😭 Such a heartwarming story about Leo and Jo, and it's so true that a cat chooses us. I had gone to a local shelter in search of a female kitten, having lost my previous cat of 14 years. It was time. I noticed a small gray striped tabby in a cage in the "nursery area". I inquired about it, and was told it was a female. The shelter employee opened the cage and handed me the kitten... with pretty green eyes. I looked into her face and asked "do you want to go home with me?" The kitten then nuzzled under my beard. I couldn't believe it, as I was trying to comprehend what was happening. So I looked into her little green eyes, and repeated again.... "are you sure you want to go home with me?" She nuzzled under my beard, started purring loudly, and was falling asleep! I completely "lost it" and started to cry... I could feel her heartbeat. The employee said "I think she choose you!" WE just celebrated 10 years together this month, of Nikki adopting ME! 🥰

I was driving to my brother's funeral service when I stopped for gas - and a kitten right about that size ran under my pickup truck (which used to be my brother's). I scooped him up, and ended up giving him to one of my brother's best friends. They say he's the best cat they've ever had. Man would Steve have like that.

While cats at times seem fragile and delicate, yet they also are extremely resilient animals. When a stray cat manages to find a new home, it is extremely grateful and will forever express its thanks and gratitude.

To all who rescue and adopt abandoned animals you shall receive great blessings from The ALMIGHTY and your places in HIS Kingdom are ready. Amen Amen 🙏🙏🙏.

I remember the day one of my cats chose me as his human. He always lays on my chest, bumps my face with his, stands up on his back legs to bump his face into mine. That cat was more like a month old at least, not 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, their eyes are just opened, their ears are still folded and they can barely walk.

Yep we found a cat and it was tiny, had to buy special kitty milk and wipe its behind so she could poop. She was 3 weeks old

That is a happy story with a happy end. How lovely! The small kitten found a great, loving and caring home and at the same time gave meaning and affection to his new dad´s life.

I found my cat Stormy in a storm one day when she was about 8 weeks old all alone. We got her out of my friends wheel at work where we were at a fire station working as paramedics and we bathed her and I brought her home. She went to the vet the next day and she is now 10 years old. All of my girls are rescue! She is 1 of 4 and the other three are triplet Russian Blues! They are my world as I don’t have any kids so they are my kids. Well done to rescuing Leo!
