Great Vid. My Dragon is over 13 years now. She spent all her summer's outside on a big deck. She has brumated a solid four months of every year of her precious life. She had a huge, outdoor enclosure and would swim underwater in her large pool. She has always had a lot of 'free time' out-of-doors and a lot of handling. She always gets on well with the cats and dogs in the house. Now, she is frail and slow, spending most of her time looking out the window or at my computer screen as she digests her favs. Thank God she still LOVES to eat!❤️🐲

Good to see a person that keeps a bearded dragon properly - outdoor access, brumation time etc. I get so sad when I see BD used as toys or props for vids- kept in a tiny glass box and bought out for pics or when the kids want to play with it (I live in Australia, they are pretty common in the woodland where i live)

I had NO idea they were this interesting and awesome either, until I got mine!! They’re also can be quite intelligent. My dragon comes when called, goes to “mom” or “dad” when told, and will answer my questions by showing me what he wants to do. Like I’ll say “if you want to go back in your house to nap, come by mom.” He will come by me and I’ll bring him back downstairs to his house. He’ll go right in and take a nap. He’ll tell me when he needs to poop, etc. He’ll “play” with the outdoor critters through our screen door. They’ll run back and forth like two dogs with a fence between them. He gives kisses when I ask, and does so much more. I work from home so I spend a great amount of time with him. They’re not meant to be left in their enclosures continuously. They need lots of human interaction to be fully appreciated.

I have never seen anything like this before. A relationship with a lizard who is obviously into the relationship and shows affection and just loves to hangout. Wow. Stretches my understanding of possibilities. In The Secret Life Of Plants it is shown the awareness and sensitivities of plants to their environment .Luther Burbank had a personal relationship with his plants. Also in Scotland the Findhorn community was a demonstration of relationship with plant spirits. Everything is alive.

I spy an old hippie just like me. I read Secret Life of Plants in high school when it came out so we all had to start talking to our houseplants--turns out they were macrame enthusiasts! 😂Much of the woo-woo stuff in that book has since been debunked, but scientists are discovering all kinds of new things about plants these days that are equally amazing. Sometime around 1981 or 82 I hitchhiked with a friend to Ashland, Oregon to hear Peter Caddy speak, one of the original founders of Findhorn. My friend wanted to meet him so we waited afterward and my friend talked to him briefly about music and plants. Then came the Gaia Hypothesis.... Simpler times, good times.

What a great mommy this sweet young lady is to that cool little dragon. I love the car sling and the little halter for going to Starbucks.

Reminds me so much of my delta!! She goes everywhere with me and I got her a little cat bed so she can ride on the seat in the car or on the dashboard for longer rides. She’s gone to Florida and Texas with me and I sneak her into hotel rooms (taking her lamp and a large tote for when we’re sleeping).

What a face !!! She really looks like a dragon !!! 😍 I didn't know they were social ! I loved that swinging sling for her !! Lol.🤣😆👍👍I think she should be careful reg.taking her to pools ,etc. 1stly ,not sure of chlorine treated water is safe or not for a lizard !! As well for the health & liability issues ,I don't want her to get in troubles ,or sued !! ( some reptiles have salmonella, etc. Germs ...) I was also worried if she could get hurt or crushed for being everywhere she goes ( for rushing by cars , parked cars, if she gets under or inside , mean kids ,mean people ...so on ) Thanks for this great video !! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

Bearded dragons are awesome. I had no idea I even wanted one until I watched my sisters two dragons. Admittedly was not thrilled at the idea and she wanted me to watch them for several months. Had never taken care of lizards before and was also a little worried about not being able to care for them. Did as much research as i could before they came over and basically before i fed or did anything for them. I loved those lizards though and when it came time to give them up i didnt want to. I immensely enjoyed taking care of them and love their personalities.

don't be confused when she says they need socializing - that's just how you tame down any pet. They are NOT safe to keep in colonies by the average person and keeping babies together often results in missing limbs and tails, as bigger ones will eat smaller ones. Beardies are best kept alone!

This is too adorable 🥰 I hope she lives a very long time. Should she be going in a chlorinated pool, though? I don’t think that’s a good idea.

When beardies tilt their head and give you the little puppy eyes look, its the best thing ever. Or when they are o; you and do that little wriggle to burrow their nose into the warm. Or when they do the sexy leg. They are just the best!
