I felt this little girl in a way. I was engaged at 17 & he was 16. I wanted a kid and a family bc of things going on at home and school (very rough lonely HARD times) but instead I prayed for two little brothers that God blessed me with and whom I literally helped raise. I believe that with parental consent it isn't considered statutory rape as long as it is under 3 years age difference and the parent is aware and gives their own consent...

This reminds me so much of who I used to be when I was her age. And I’m SO lucky and so glad I didn’t end up pregnant. That boyfriend I was with was extremely abusive and I didn’t see it until a few years after we broke up. Now I’m 22, only married young (20) because of my now husband’s career. No kids. Building a successful business. And I don’t have a child to worry about while still enjoying my early 20’s. I really hope she has moved on from this mentality.

Omg I can’t believe I didn’t catch that when I first saw this episode live…..and btw, I was 18 at the time. The same exact age as that boy. But I of course had enough common sense to know that his minimum wage job isn’t nearly enough to support them OR that baby they wanted to have.

I'm a 16 yr old mother, and let me tell you do I ever wish I waited, unlike this little I was not trying to get pregnant... teens need to wait.. don't get me wrong I love my daughter but I can't be a teen anymore I now have to be an adult me and my boyfriend also live together on our own, I clean, cook, do groceries, I bath, feed, clean my child, it's hard being a teen mom or teen parents, children are a blessing but it's alot of work, you can't depend on your parents your whole life.

Me too.....married 20 years now. I was engaged at 17. We had 4 kids and have a happy marriage. Marriage is nothing compared to having a child. I was 27 before l had a baby. Marriage is what you make it, but parenting is a huge responsibility. I'm so happy l met the one young.

When I was in school all I wanted was time to sleep because my mind was so exhausted studying. Both of them should go to school and they will not have time to make babies.
