I agree but The problem is she has kids . Let’s say you force her to work bc you cut off the disability payments . If she can’t hold a job then the kids begin to starve , get taken away and we end up paying even a lot more money to take care of not just those kids but all the stet employees in hassling that . It’s actually cheaper to just give her that measly monthly .

These people don't want to work. They don't want the responsibility of a 9-5 job, they want everyday to be a Saturday. I'm on disability as well, I was born with serious health issues which continue to this day. It feels a bit like everyone on disability is being harshly juged for it, unfortunately the people with actual problems are the real victims of those that abuse the system. Wondering how easy it is to get on disability in the usa? Im from the netherlands and the process here is pretty harsh and strict, not easy to scam your way into it. Atleast it is now, it used to be very easy to get in and the system was severely abused. Thanks to all those bad apples its now nearly impossible to get in. My friends fosterkid for example has lower than average iq (about 60) and severe autism. When she turned 18 she had to get disability to be able to live off in the assisted living home she was placed into. She will always need assistance in her everyday life. (She isnt able to cook, wash clothes.. etc. Even the simplest tasks she doesnt understand. Let alone being able to do administative tasks such as banking, filing taxes, reading and understanding important documents..) So her financial advisor and legal help applied for her to get on disability and even after the medical evaluation by a certified doctor.. they juged her autism and low iq might magically cure within 6 months and her case would then be reevaluated.... (wtf, right?!) Thats how tight they are at the moment. I mean, physically the girl is strong and healthy, so on the outside you wont really see a disabled girl. That is until you start a conversation with her, thats when most people notice something is 'off' about her. When she was younger and still in school, they did get her into different kinds of jobtraining, but even the simpelest ones were impossible for her to do. Like picking weeds in a commercial greenhouse. She would need constant supervision or she would pick the actual plants instead of the weeds. She also has a habbit of talking A LOT she will even continue to talk when no one is around. And they found it would majorly keep other workers from effectivly doing their jobs. 😅 Luckily she had a devoted team working for her and she did eventually end up getting disability, but its a real shame people like her have to suffer the consequenses of previous scammers of the system. (I probable had it a bit easier, since my disability is physical and very much visible)
