This is eerie because my friend and I were talking about this case last night. It was 1979. I remember her and when this happened. I was 12, she was my sister’s age and my sister knew her. She lived down the street from us at that time. My mom also talked about it. We were shocked and saddened, as well as afraid since it was so close to home which made it a reality and not just a face on television.

That is eerie. When we were writing up and researching this case, our relatives who were teenagers back in 1979 remembered this case and similar abductions of women that occurred in the city at that time. So scary. But it is a silver lining that new DNA technology is allowing these cold cases to be solved.
Ana, thanks to you, for having this brilliant couple on and working these stories!

Thank you and to Ana...it was great getting to bring light to this case.
Oh my I can relate to the death of her daddy. My boyfriend was killed in a hit and run by a woman, Angel Dora Suneson (Velardez) who had 2 prior hit and runs and who was already out on bond for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Because she ran and sobered up before turning herself in 8 hours later, she wasn't charged with a DUI which would turn into vehicular manslaughter. She was only given 180 days but served 89 days in jail. She's out and about like she didnt kill a whole human being. The Sheriffs dept responsible for investigating the death were incompetent.

What? That is sad! How are you able to commit multiple, serious offenses?!? 🥲
Many cases don’t get the attention they deserve.

We agree. We try to focus a good amount of our energy on researching cold cases to bring more attention to those that never received justice or answers.
I really like the way Mr & Mrs Smith tag-teamed the story telling 👏 Great episode!

You know these two have either been together since being young or are two halves of the same human (or both). They are so intertwined with one another when talking, it's cute and I do the same thing with my hubby. :)

Thank you Ana for taking the time to discuss the Kim Bryant and Diana Hanson cases with us, as well as the important work being done to solve these cold cases!

She truly is. She did victim advocacy after surviving her attack, we believe.
Bugsy Siegel told Del Webb, a contractor who was working on a hotel/casino in Vegas, that he had killed 16 men, but added "Del, don't worry, we only kill each other", after seeing the panicked look on Webb's face.
The new name threw me off . Thank god i remembered and didn't unsub.

Hello Ana -You have wonderful guests today! I live in the Carolinas but, I work for a Company based in Las Vegas. (Large Property Management Company) I am fascinated about these old cases in Las Vegas. I’m going to ask my co-workers at Corporate if they follow any of these.. To be honest, when I think of old Las Vegas cases I think of mob hits. 😂 Ana, I have lived a very sheltered life until I got into True Crime years ago. I hope you are doing well. I am loving your pictures on Instagram, my fellow dog lover. ❤ Have a fantastic week! I’m going to be playing with the dogs all weekend.

I remember this story. Lived in Vegas ‘67-‘04 - lots of girls/women murdered! One of my classmates at Chaparral High School was missing (early 80s) & later found in the desert by my home. I remember talking to her one day in ceramics class & then reported missing. So sad. I believe it’s still unsolved (Tighe).

That is sad to hear Catherine Tighe attended Chaparral when you were there. Her case is quite tragic, and we hope there are some answers regarding her murder in the near future. Othram has been doing an amazing job solving cold cases around Vegas.
Thank you
Just love yr guests Ana they seem so sincere and sweet ❤

Well God bless the Smith family I think they're amazing. I'm from Massachusetts I totally respect and appreciate what these two are doing. Although I by no means was involve it's nice to see that there are people out there that care of these cold cases and we care. It states on Wikipedia that he died Jan 20th 1993 of a drug overdose.

If he was married with kids before he died what has his widow and children etc said was his cause of death st 33 in the hospital?
so Snake Plissken did it

Y'all changed the channel name and look, I thought it wasn't the channel
I smelled jealousy in ANA... she tried to discredit them by saying maybe they want attention ir lying have you ever thougt about that... 2. Secibd blow was when she tried to just shame the whole community being marred into crime of gambling and mafia... The couple were professional tp uphold their community... 3. She kept blaring her career in front of them and asking them what is next.. That was disgraceful for her being so established but still SO INSECURE...
FYI...their last name is not Smith
