I like that little rasp she had in her voice. I've never heard a voice like hers before. I wish for more music from her. It would have been cool to see what else she would've came out with nowadays, who she would've sang with, the music videos she would've made. Man, what a life to be taken :(

It's not really one of her signature songs, but one of her more "soulful" ones.Not to say I'm some Selena expert or anything like that.I've only been learning about her the last 6 weeks.Binged watched a lot of her videos and realized just how universal she was.She could do any style of singing or dancing.I actually think her dancing is underrated because she didn't choreograph anything.She just freestyled all the time.You give her a professional choreography team, she'd kill it just like Janet Jackson, or Paula Abdul.I have no doubts about that...But that was the charm of Selena, tho.She had this homegrown/organic type style.Her talent was still very raw in many ways.It sucks that she didn't get to cultivate & develop into full bloom, but even then, she's a true icon.Has impersonators and everything.That's exclusive territory right there.When you have hundreds & thousands of professional imitators who get paid to act like you, that's super icon status.From what I've learned about her so far, the only thing bigger than her talent as an artist, was the goodness of her heart as a human being.She was a genuinely nice, down to earth person.Despite having a body straight of of a comic book & otherwordly talent, she was approachable.She made everybody feel special.Over the last 6 weeks, I've become a really big fan! I can't wait to see more of Selena, one of my favorite artists to this day. "Dreaming of You," "Como la flor," "Amor Prohibido," are some of her best songs! "Immortal Technique - You Never Know" for a good reaction song lyrics or official video.
