he did this reimagined version and then the revamped version of “i’m not a vampire” at the 10-year anniversary of the original album release as a gift for his fans. he’s an insanely gifted musician, able to do pretty much any style of music that he wants to. and yes, he’s been clean/sober for a long time now.

Ironically, he wrote "The Drug in me is you" while he was in prison. Prison was when he realized how detrimental drugs were for him. So he technically was sober when he wrote it. Has been sober since prison. Got that from his book!

Yes- the drug is actually drugs and it’s “misery”. You were spot on in the first video talking about bad situation- and needing to get out- but after 10 years being clean sober living life and growing- he is a different person- which makes the people trying to bring up his past and hate him/ it’s horrible- he is completely different- he grew like you should- he changed like you would hope someone would want. I think that’s why long term fans like myself- leaving a marriage after 16 years with a narcissist husband- many of his songs now hit me differently then they did before. The fact that he wrote amazing lyrics 10 years before is usually completely overlooked.

This was such a raw reaction! Thank you for that! I've watched so many people react to this song and they just never seem to "understand" the pain and desperation but you heard it the way I sure it was supposed to be heard. Just hit my 10 year mark this past April and I have an almost 6 year old son. Almost been clean now longer than how long I used, which is crazy for me to think about. But it's such an inspiration to see other people's success after kicking the shit. Ronnie really is the GOAT, he's as real as they come.

His screams are usually of anger or frustration, but in this case those screams at the end were of DESPERATION man, that's why it hits different. And I agree, that very last scream was amazingly sad to hear. You could feel the pain he was feeling

I have NEVER seen ANYONE get as deep as you man, and be able to connect with such subtlety within the music that most wouldn’t catch. What you show when you feel music, is the very reason musicians create it in the first place. Thank you Brother, you’re the truth music is made for 🙏🏼 ❤️

When I saw that you had reacted to both versions of this, I could barely contain my excitement because you'd be experiencing the full effect of what he did here, and I couldn't wait to see what you thought of it. I was initially more focused on your thoughts and general reaction and hadn't even considered your emotional reaction, so for that reason I was momentarily surprised, but I know that you love and feel music deeply, and sometimes that shows itself by way of tears, happy or otherwise. And I just wanted to say, dude thank you so much for trusting us enough, or just being comfortable enough to share raw, emotional moments like this with us. I'm not sure how to explain the importance of that. Saying it's satisfying sounds insensitive. I don't find joy in your tears 😄. But it was satisfying to see you realize that it was the exact same song and see how Ronnie had literally reimagined it. And then to see how deeply it affected you was very relatable. I guess some of us just enjoy these little gossamer threads of connection that exist from a genuine love of/need for music, and an appreciation for how it makes us feel (regardless of HOW it makes us feel, just the FACT that it makes us feel). I've said enough. I'm talking weird and fear I'm not making sense. I'll go have a nap now.

Watching you react - you seemed to show a lot of the emotion that I feel every time I hear this song. And I think you are the first reactor that ever actually reacted to the last line and how impactful it is. It's like he is fading away, being taken away, or he is so lost (can't you see) that he is now out of reach. It guts me every time. You are right - his music can be applied to so many different situations in anyone's life. Great reaction and thank you for you insightful reactions - I really love them. I love all the things you see or notice. So many others just don't. Also - 'irrational response' is universal. It definitely happens to me also -

I love that it impacted you as much as it did me when i first heard it. It still chokes me up sometimes. Ronnie has amazing talent, but the raw, genuine emotion that comes through when he sings/screams can't be taught or faked. He makes us feel his pain and connect so strongly to the music! 😭 And yes, he has been sober for awhile now! And he reimagined this song and I'm Not a Vampire 10 years after the originals were released. Pretty amazing!

The message isnt gotten as the song progresses and he keeps pulling back, until he finally snaps. The last muffled seeeee comes across as it didnt matter if he screamed, it still fell on dead ears. Anyways loved the reaction. I really enjoy watching people who have a deep passion for music react to artists who have a deep passion. Mr Radke sings from the heart. There is not alot of that these days. Thank you. Looking foward to Im not a Vampire.

Pain, rage, resentment, sadness....all wrapped up in one tragic track. You dont just hear the hopelessness, you feel it.😢 Ronnie is that rare artist that can make you THINK and FEEL at the same time. This represents how he felt when he was an addict. This is exactly what I love about music. When it hits you, it hits hard. These reimagined and revamped versions are so amazing, especially for the new feelings that emerge from listening to them. I grew up listening to Falling in Reverse and I knew Ronnie had his issues but even with deep lyrics, the sound didn't match the feelings, so it was more of a rebellious type of music rather than something deep or impactful. Now as an adult I can understand the darkness he was trying to portray and how music was his escape. Love the reactions Teddy, keep up the good work.

Stumbled across these reactions by accident. I actually meant to click on the video right before his reaction to the 1st FIR video he reacted to (all t no shade). My stupid Roku remote is slow to respond so I tried to back out but it took a second for the action to actually happen.... it was a few seconds but I was already entranced. This man's has such a beautiful reaction to music that I was hypnotized. I could literally fall. In love with an piece of music he highlighted because of the way he reacts to it. He has such an appreciation for music-that can't be learned. That's in the soul. People that can listen to music and have a physical reaction-goosebumps, chills, tears, rage, heart break...... They don't listen to music.... They absorb it. Music takes you on a journey of love, loss, redemption, heartache, grief, sorrow....... And yearning. I've cried from the singers heartbreak though I hadn't experienced it for myself (yet.... Oh those were the good old days lol). A song about a cheating spouse had me giving my husband of 30 years some serious side eye before I realized the feelings I had weren't MY OWN! 🔥 My poor boogs ... He loves me even though I'm a fucking weirdo lol. Music appreciation man.... Whoa.... He has such a beautiful soul that I loved him instantly and hoped and that prayed good things come his way. Music can bring us together..... And It can rip is to pieces..... Btw...... I'm all girl... I love glitter, I love pink and purple and I Got the big ass- Lmao... I'm all girl, a funky chunky girl who also is very much a tomboy. I'm tattooed, I rode a motorcycle and I raise American bullies.... I'm weird...i am an enigma... Lol ... But I TOTALLY felt you when you said that you wanted to punch something lol girls feel that way too... Albeit I'm no lady. I'm a girl but I ain't no lady so maybe that's the distinction lol. No refuse to believe that.... Our sex aside.... We are all human and we are. All going through some shit and I truly believe when a song reaches down and grabs you by the balls.... Or lady balls.... Whatever... When you FEEL it it fills you up with adrenaline and you just want to.... Fight, fuck, scream, destroy.... Ack!!! Release.... It's all about release. I have punched the wall (and it really fucking hurt and I'm not doing that again).... I've Broke down and crumpled to the floor sobbing.... I've grabbed my husband and well...... We did some thangs... Whoo.... Lawd! Anyhow..... What I'm saying is girls totally get it.... I totally get that it's not ladylike to admit those things but you know what? I don't fucking care.... Like I said I ain't a lady. Kudos sir ... I love your videos. I love your appreciation for music ..... I love your beautiful spirit and I hope the world appreciates you as I do. Thank you for taking em on a journey and thank you for letting us see how music moves you..... ❤️❤️

Love your Ronnie reactions and break downs, great analogies. Since you are not a metal type person i have a suggestion for you. Jinjer , Pisces Live studio session. I would love to see you react to it.
