My dad introduced me to Teddy Pendergrass when I was about 9 yrs old. Awesome music. Issac Hayes, Barry White, Micheal McDonald and others were part of my musical experience as a kid. But then again so were led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and (my personal favorite) Rush. I miss those days of great music.

Teddy Pendergrass, formerly with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, was the smooth sexy voice of seventies soul! I remember my older sister had such a thing for him that she'd scream whenever his songs came on the radio and my mom would say "what happened?!" every time! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I went to see Teddy P after the accident and he still toured some. He performed in his wheelchair. Everyone was crying.

I'll never forget meeting Mr. Pendergrass before a show in Atlantic City. He went on stage and sang better than 85% of the talent today. *The thing is, he did it while sitting in a WHEERCHAIR...
