Bro. This is the part for the Moorer movie. Mike deserves a movie. To me... top 3 LHW of all time. EDIT: I totally get you Teddy. I used to coach a summer league basketball team of 13 & 14 year olds. These kids were from one of the toughest public housing projects. During halftime some of these guys would take a cigarette break. A couple games they came to play with a hangover. At first I kicked em off the team. Then they asked to play again and promised to change. I gave a 2nd chance. They did it again. I figured next that it would be best to let them know I cared. Do your thing but I'll show you some things. If you ever decide to take your game to higher levels try out what I shared with you. If anything share it with your kids one day. We are still quality friends till today.

I remember some of this and I always liked Michael Moorer, he was extremely talented, it just goes to show how special that someone like Evander Holyfield or Larry Holmes were, because of their complete commitment and how professional they were! Teddy almost willed them to that Championship, Michael Fought the fight but Teddy steadied him and pointed him in the Direction of excellence and he became the best heavy weight boxer on the planet that night and Teddy was the best Trainer! How many People can say that they were the best at anything?

The movie is the tension built before the climax. Teddy is giving away storyboards for free. You can picture him going off on his old trainer, not with the words they had between them, it through what he really wanted to say to everyone at that moment. Then the guy showing up to the room to say congrats, the listener is annoyed with Teddy by that point.

As the fight progressed it was clear that Holyfield was having an issue that was making him slow and lethargic. Moorer was still being so frustratingly cautious rather than pressing the action. At one point between rounds Atlas shouted at Moorer that he was going to let Evander off the hook when something was wrong with the guy and the title was right there for the taking.

He couldn’t do . Just couldn’t get through a whole hour and a half without saying that Holyfield was too much man for Tyson 😂. What a self centred ego maniac .so going by teddy’s theory of boxing and life, Michael Moorer is just a scared little boy who misses his daddy and David Tua was just Too much man for him . The same as Holyfield and Holmes and Foreman and whoever else beat him . Seriously !! Two and a half hours and he hasn’t spent 10 minutes talking about the fight , the lead up. He just waffles on about his own greatness.

Looking at HBO tape of this fight, Moorer can't be accused of fighting his heart out, even with Altas ridin' him hard between rounds. Even on this huge night, one need only use his 2 eyes to see Moorer STILL had serious self-motivation issues...right up to the 11th round! Can Teddy, at least, admit that Moorer lucked-out with the decision? It def looks like it could have gone another way any other night.
