A closefight is not a robbery. Loma deserved a draw. But the judges are not deserving judges lol. I was impressed by both of them. Haney is a very skillful fighter. Loma turned back the clock and made Haney more uncomfortable than any fighter has so far. That straight left for Loma was landing at will at some point. Haneys body shots slowed Loma down a bit and had great defense. High skill fight. I enjoyed it.

He spoke a lot about how they have had a rough life because a father was never at home .and the bond that they acquired over the years. Put him in a position of that leader , that father, that inspiration of what life can be and not what it has been.He put in so much hard work so much selfless actions sacrificed a lot for these kids. It had me emotional. because there were times in my life I felt that I could’ve pushed harder being a dad. I'm looking forward to hearing Teddy's breakdown of the fight between Haney vs Loma. This is going to be very interesting viewing. I wonder if Teddy saw what I saw in this fight or did he pick Loma for the win?? We all know he's a huge Loma fan but he does also like Haney too.. He speaks highly of Devin and his old man Dolla Bill Haney.. No matter what anybody thinks of this fight u cannot say it wasn't a really good fight. Both guys went at each other and we finally saw Haney tested to his limits but he withstood the barrage for me and this win will only take his whole game to a new level.. Again I had Haney winning the fight 7-5 but it could've easily been a draw as well.. Great conversation between these 2 great dudes.. Brian Custer is a top man. I love how he goads each fighter by telling them what the other guy was saying.. He looked at TANK and told him Ryan said he gonna break ur jaw Tank man..? What u gotta say about that?? Brian is a smooth killer imho.. He stirs the pot with style and that smile,, Salute to Brian and Teddy for a great show ..

Teddy Atlas is brilliant. Its a shame they didn't have this interview after the Loma and Haney fight. Objectively I would say the fight was a dead draw. Only a draw fight where someone is given the unanimous decision win could cause this much controversy. I personally scored it 115-114 in favor of Loma, yes the last round was 10:10. Loma even said it himself, he eased up on the gas the last round thinking he had already won. That's the tragic part. If you gave the 12th to Haney it would still be a draw fight. Haney did an excellent job overall but people seem to forgot punches do not always land even if it looks like it. He landed the right often, but many of his body shots were blocked or just missed. "Effective aggression" is what wins fights. A rematch would be huge for boxing and benefit everyone.

Round 10 and 11 were the most clear Loma rounds. He dominated Haney and outlanded Haney 11 punches to 5 punches (round 10) and then freaking 20 punches to 2 (round 11)…. I’ll have to rewatch without audio but I had Loma landing cleaner effective shots in the fight for 8-4 rounds win. Is Haneys right hook to the body equal to a head shot by Loma… is body boxing enough to win a round? Scoring is so subjective.

@@Mr.P1983 good point! It’s about clean “effective” punches. If you land a body shot and your opponent is visibility hurt, like Pac-Man hurt Thurman and had Thurman moving away that round, of course it matters I agree! Knockdowns are knockdowns, but upon first watch it appeared the “effective” punches were being landed by Loma. I personally like seeing body shots and how they are set up, like Inoue targeting the liver and dropping his opponents. Haney landed tons of right hands to body, only for Loma to continue pushing the pace and snapping Haneys head and landing upstairs. I think that’s what majority of people saw. Again, I’ll have to rewatch, I could be very wrong!

They say it’s 50/50 for Spence vs. Crawford; however, from what I’m hearing, it’s more like 60/40 in favor of Spence in terms of how many people are picking/rooting for him. I’d say 7 out of every 10 boxing analysts/fighters are picking Spence to win by decision or stoppage. Me, personally, I believe Bud Crawford will ultimately be victorious by way of TKO. I think he will figure Spence out by the 6-7th round, and his ability to adjust on the fly will bring him the stoppage. Spence doesn’t believe Bud can stop him, but he is severely underestimating him. Once Spence gets hit with one of Bud’s counter hooks, I think he will become more cautious, and hesitate to unleash his signature onslaught of voluminous jabs/body shots. He’s still going to try to punch at a high rate, but that will for sure leave him vulnerable to get countered. if it goes 12 rds, I think Spence gets the W, by split decision or UD although it will ultimately be 7-5. NOW, If Bud figures Spence out by the 4th-6th, then I got Bud by TKO by the 10th round. I don’t see Bud getting a UD over Spence, unfortunately. Errol throws too many jabs and body punches, and he doesn’t get tired. If Bud doesn’t figure Spence out by the 6th, it will be a win by decision for Spence. Spence could also get a stoppage too. But don’t be shocked if Bud stops Spence. BEST FINISHER IN BOXING, HANDS DOWN!!!

a draw at best for Devin. Most scored it 8-4/7-5 Loma. Even the early rounds weren't dominant, feel out rounds and swing rounds at best. When Haney landed, it didn't stop Loma for his attack. Loma admitted Haney doesnt have power. By round 6 Loma was circling and getting under Haneys jab. Hitting Haney with double lefts, jabs, hooks. Loma was the more aggressive fighter and outboxed him because Haney began to telegraph his jab by round 6. Rewatch the fight and see Lomas foot movement that led to Loma rocking Haneys back every round. If Haney won, Loma wouldnt have landed more punches and dictate the pace of the fight. Haney was getting his jab countered and the right hand to the body didn't stop Loma advancing forward. Teo beat Loma, but Haney didnt. Loma wasn't hurt once, Haney had to retreat when Loma rocked him with the cross counter.
