Higgins is so underrrated. He is literally at the end of the character arc that everyone else in the show is on: he has a solid relationship, a loving and kind family, has owned up to his past mistakes, grown as a person, and is a good friend.

I had this exact argument with my husband about a character from a book i was reading. He said that the female protagonist sleeping with her ex-boyfriend when she might be starting something new with another guy is wrong and the new guy shouldn't get together with her. Once we watched this scene, I reminded him of his previous sentiments and he agreed, "grow up and get over it" is the perfect response to this situation.

This scene, man. Comedic timing absolutely perfect, but let's talk about the content. Most writing would have one of the following: 1. Man having issues doesn't take good advice and screws up further. 2. Friends give bad advice, man takes advice, screwing things up further. I love that they took this a third way and avoided cliche: Band of odd fellow friends give good advice, man looks inside and sees that it's good advice, follows his heart, and actually gets the girl.

Same Nate but with more confidence and ego. He’s had those moments previously where it ekes out but now that he feels he can do anything it flows out more freely. Nate cares but only inso-much as the acknowledgment and praise followed. So when he felt that he was no longer receiving that from Ted he began constructing the idea that he was being used to justify himself in how he acted. He has power now and can flex it so he does whereas previously he had nothing and could only take the verbal emotional and physical abuse. Now that he has the ability to inflict it he does so.

Ted: "Sure roy here has slept with a bunch of different people in his past!" Roy: * nods like yeah thats right!* Ted: "But keeley's got her own romantic and sexual history that predates roy, AND THATS NOT OKAY!" Roy: * nods like Yeah! exactly!* the way roy nods completely sincerely not understanding that Ted is calling him a hypocrite is so funny.

I just hated how they turned Nate into a bad guy in Season 2; I mean he was my favorite after Ted Lasso and Coach Beard. Then realised that not every person you meet is going to be good. Some show their true colours with rising power and you have to grow up and forget it because allthough shit happens, life moves on! I loved this show sm

I thought they were doing pretty well up until their reply until the very end. Roy isn't bothered with the idea that Keeley has a sexual/romantic past, he's upset because the woman who he thought was attracted to him slept with her ex boyfriend the night before. Understandably, this makes Roy question if Keeley is as serious about her feelings for Roy as his feelings are for her. I feel like the coaches misrepresented or misunderstood Roy's conflict. To be clear, I'm not suggesting that Keeley did anything wrong; it's just as the coaches pointed out, Roy and Keeley weren't exclusive. I'm just saying that the coaches gave great advice but not for Roy's problem.
