I am 70 years old and can’t remember not being a PROUD member of the RAIDER NATION!
I am a Raider and Ted was one of the GREATEST players of all time. Honored I had the opportunity watch him play. He revolutionized his position
I met Ted Hendricks at a charity golf outing. He was very personable and had great stories. My brother and I are both Raiders fans. We were decked out in Raider gear for the outing which took place, ace in Chicago. Ted latched on to us at the dinner after. Great stories, big laughs, and a great memory.
I am a Raider! I grew up in a season ticket holder family through the sixties and seventies. Cried when they moved to LA, still bled silver and black. Went to games in LA. when we could, went to games when they came back to Oakland. Cried again when they moved to Vegas, but knew they had to have a new stadium. I still, and always will bleed the colors. RN4L
Was loyal & season ticket holder years until Al left LA, burned Irwindale, & began ticket reserve fee (now all nfl teams use) and moved 2 more times. Why should I fall for his disloyalty & NFLs fleecing of their fans? Nope, its a 2 way street. Great players & memories but not much of my time or money spent on them anymore. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ..,
Kick'em Ted.. My favorite NFL player all time.
I am a PROUD citizen of RAIDER NATION
'The Mad Stork,' was Ted Hendricks at UM. His wing span was incredible. Today he would be called a Freak-someone 6'7" and only 220 playing defense in college at that time and place was way out of the ordinary. He had the hand-to-eye coordination and quickness of a 6' point guard. With the leverage his length gave him, in college he was impossible to block.
One of my Raider's favorite players...I've been a Raider since I was five yrs. Old and still and forever bleed Silver & Black 61yrs. RN4L BELIEVE IT
The 49ers drafted a tight end in the first round in 1978 named Ken McAffee. John Madden said in preseason games Hendricks would never go full tilt. If you didnt try to embarrass him he wouldn't embarrass you. McAffee, 6-5" 250lbs who set receiving records for Notre Dame when Joe Montana was there, made the awful mistake of clipping Hendricks in the back. Madden said he played the rest of the game like it was the super bowl. He humiliated McAffee never letting him get off the line of scrimage. Totally demoralized him. His career was badically a bust and that mistake could have possibly contributed to this. McAffee became very successful after his NFL career though. You never piss off the Stork with a cheap shot.

Ted Hendricks one of my favorite players even too play for our Raiders and love watching him play.
I am a 55 year old Raider, since 1974. I picked them, my dad is a 49ers fan.
I knew some of them. I actually supplied Dan ( Pig Pen) Connors with a light up Raiders hat that he proudly displayed in Bulls Tavern, one of the three bars he owned. I've been a Raider fan since 1963. I was born in 1961. Even though my dad played for the Bears and the Browns, I always liked the Raiders.
