I love this rumble, it's in my top 5 all-time. It was a blizzard outside and my mom bought me the PPV to celebrate all the shoveling i did. I'll never forget it, recorded it on a Scotch VHS tape and watched it for years!

I was at this show and sat a few feet from the broadcast table. When DiBiase’s music hit and he came out to join Vince, we went nuts. That was a fun moment.

Crazy thing is, Ted wrestled his last match against Razor at SummerSlam 1993. It was only 5 months in between appearances. Time sure did move a lot slower back then!

I thought Ted did a great job. His infamous call - "WHO THE HELL WON THIS THING MCMAHON!" - still rings through my ears

Vince needed a heel commentator. First he had Jesse, then he had Bobby. Next was Jerry Lawler (who we despised more than anyone). Finally it was Ted's turn.

Bobby Heenan was my all-time time fave color guy, and it was hard to replace him. I know some give him flack for his performance but as a first time I thought he did well.

@@luciano-km7mq yeah I remember that at WM IX and I saw maybe Pritchard talk about how Bobby really was not happy with Randy after that.

As far as colour commentary goes, Ted was better than Savage, Piper & Perfect. I didn’t enjoy any of those 3 with Vince in the early 90s. Ted was good at royal rumble 1994.

It was a shame Vince was such a terrible commentator. Ted with a Gorilla or Jim Ross would have been great.
