Ted’s Million Dollar Man gimmick was one of the greatest heel characters of all time. That laugh, putting the bill in the mouth and his every body’s got a price theme was perfect. He’s also underrated as a worker, one of my favourites.

He was seriously an excellent technical performer, undoubtedly. Definitely underrated in that way because he had such a popular character. But DiBiase both before and during his WWF run was actually quite a fantastic overall wrestler.

Yep. I honestly think the WWF would’ve been in big trouble if they didn’t have Ted as their main heel during the late 80’s. He was a perfect replacement to Orndorff, even though it sucked seeing him pushed to the sidelines and turned into a mid-card babyface.

Million Dollar Man was the ultimate late 80's early 90's heel, he "corrupted" the world around him, bought other wrestlers loyalty, created his own belt .. it was everything a heel should do to have people cheer for literally whomever stood on the other side of the ring.

Have to define "worker," in it of itself subjective. Many would argue that drawing ability and character believability fits into how good a "worker" is, so guys like The Sheik, Bruno, Austin can be thrown in that mix. But if we're limiting "worker" to selling, athleticism and story-telling in-ring, the list gets a bit shorter...

Talking about best workers is complicated because it's not entirely clear whether we're talking about technicians, psychology, safety, etc. What criteria you include is going to affect the list. Dean Malenko was one of the best technicians, but not one of the safest. Ric Flair was one of the safest workers, one of the good psychologists, but not one of the most gifted technicians. Hogan and Goldberg were able to get way over by hyping the audience, but their technical work was rudimentary. If we don't have a universal understanding of the criteria, we're going to have different lists. If we're talking about all of the above; Bret Hart was super safe, super technical, and worked body parts for the storytelling. I liked babyface HBK in 1996 for how much he would sell in his ppv matches, look really hurt, and evoke a lot of sympathy -- good psychology.

Michaels overselling to humiliate those he didn't like/want to job to, takes a lot away from his ranking imo. Ted was great in the ring. I would place him on an all time great in ring worker list. and sorry Ted, but Brady is the GOAT without question

I've been saying since i was a kid that hbk is the best I've ever seen, and Bret Hart was number 2, after that is pretty random RVD, flair of course

Flair put on a great match, but he put on the same match every time. Hart could tell countless different stories as a heel or babyface, putting others over, doing a double turn, whatever. Any situation. He could give you something completely different every time you saw him.
