I don't have cancer, but I am a chronic illness patient, and these sorts of morbid jokes may freak most people out, but for those of us who are sick the jokes are one way of coping and helping us process the bad stuff in a funny way. So Techno's attitude towards making jokes about his cancer really is something a lot of us who have chronic illnesses do.

I can’t believe he’s dead. He’ll forever live in our hearts.

Near the end of the video is just hectic lol. You have bea explaining to tubbo what yaas means then Scott questions why tubbo refused when Scott flat out said it was just to add a little bit of gay to something and then technoblade tries to explain to wilbur how he cannot right click a book. Altogether it makes a heated conversation that fits well when you have more than 4 people in a discord call.

I'd like to point out that Wilbur's contract at 23:27 makes it so that Wilbur himself is the only person Techno's NOT allowed to offer his services. "none other than Wilbur Soot" means the same as just "Wilbur Soot", not "Anyone except Wilbur", so what the contract really says is "I will never offer my services to Wilbur". The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure Techno might've caught that if he wasn't nerfed into being illiterate

I've never heard of none other than interpreted that way. I always thought it meant to express surprise in regards to someone (ex. None other than the great musician Ludwig Beethoven) or as a substitute to "no one other than" or "not one other than". I think he used it correctly 😅

Using one of your examples, the sentence "We've revived none other than the great musician Ludwig Beethoven to perform at this concert", means that the person being revived is, in fact, Beethoven, and not, say, Michael Jackson. The reason that is the case despite the phrase having the word "none" in it is that the word "other" also counts as a negative. In the first layer we have "Beethoven" - the person himself. The second layer is "Someone OTHER than Beethoven" - a person that could be literally anyone else but Beethoven. The third layer is "NONE other than Beethoven". The "none" in this case modifies the second layer. The second layer had everyone except Beethoven, and it can't be anyone from the second layer now because of the "none", meaning we've looped back around to this phrase referring only to Beethoven. Thus, the phrase is used to put emphasis on the person you're talking about, to make sure you know it can't be anyone else.

It should be " I shall offer my services to none other than Wilbur" or "I shall never offer my services to anyone but Wilbur" but doing both kinda cancels eachother out.
