Techniques for Silver Crafting / Melt, Square material, Silver wire
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I will show you techniques for making basic materials for metalcraft (silvercraft).
In modern metal crafts, most of them are purchased and used ready-made, but since I do not mass-produce, I make and use silver materials little by little, as shown in the video.
I hope this video will help you, including those new to silversmithing.
Thank you very much for watching.

The plates I use are over 40 years old. I recommend buying a better diamond hole plate than mine.

It's nice that you have a strong back and arms, but I advise you, in my experience, to make a long mechanism yourself and please us with a video! Your subscriber!

At 2:59 you move the silver bar into the dark presumably to see how hot it is?

Hi S-M Very interesting to get a view into the different processes! Especially the last section about drawing the wire. How thin can silver be drawn that way? You are doing extremely well on video quality, so keep up the awesome work! Best regards Lars

The smallest of the plate holes is thinner than the needle. It is physically possible to pull it as thin as a thread. thanks~
