Hello! Thanks to my friend Paweł I've had an opportunity to play this wonderfull keyboard! Too bad that Technics stopped making instruments, cause this is really professional and fully featured synthesizer, far beyond era. Four layers for one patch like the Motif, good quality, warm sounding samples, powerfull filter section, really decent keyboard, great, live sounding accompaniments and professional 16 track sequencer - It's way more than modern Yamaha keyboards. I didn't record auto accompaniments style because almost 90% are the same as KN920, that I've already had on my channel. Please enjoy and subscribe if you like my vids.

I used to have a KN2000. Even that one was fun and the sounds are similar to 5000. But KN5000 is really in a different league :) I can realise that the strings and vox type sounds are much better. Thanks for the presentation.

Drawbars excelentes e 3 órgão clássicos perfeitos, não esquecendo os diversos acordeões e strings. Utilizo muito a secção de pianos para treino

@@stereopolis Witam tez mialem technicsa kn 6500 ale mnie zamroczylo i sprzedalem. Teraz mam kn 5000, w sumie duzej przepasci nie ma. Ma Pan moze jakies style disco takie pod noge bo w klawiszu jest ubogo . ewentualnie czy da sie jakos wgrac style np z yamahy

@@marko1981100 No cóż. Moim zdaniem przepaść między tymi dwoma modelami jest dość spora 😊. Przede wszystkim zupełnie przeprojektowane i barwy i style plus zestaw kompletnie nowych sampli. Zasadniczo funkcje te same, ale brzmienie o epokę lepsze. Odpowiadając na pańskie pytanie - ten instrument nie był mój. Przyjaciel mi go użyczył w celu nagrania tego demo, więc nie chciałem mu nic edytować ani mieszać i nie mam żadnych styli ani ustawień pod niego. Mam natomiast do sprzedania KN6500 😁
I just bought one second hand but in excellent condition for £100. A nice step up from my SX-KN1500.

That dx7 sound is much better and warmer than the dx modern sound in my yamaha psr530 and to think dx7 is from yamaha. Lol. Nice playing btw

This EP is the best DX Piano emulation i’ve ever heard on rompler. I don’t understand why Yamaha decide to put that shitty, contour and boring sample to their keyboards and electronic pianos as default FM Rhodes.

@@stereopolis true. My Yamaha PSR530 don't even have a rhodes sound. I have a favorite EP there but it doesn't even sound close to a rhodes. My current keyboard, korg kross 1 i had for 7 years now has a rhodes sound tho. What i am proud of my PSR530 however is that, since it's "made in japan", it lasted this long. I had it since 1998 and it's still being played by my dad to this day. IO had used it on gigs from 2008-15 before i upgraded.
If I try to adjust sustain length in Part Settings it does not respond to my input. The values 1-10 all sound the same. When pressing the sustain button, the sustain is wayy too long. I can workaround it but it's really annoying, it's either no sustain or 30-second lasting sustain. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one of these?..the sounds are incredible, and I'm sure that there are sound editing features, layering/splitting capabilities, and registration zones for storing sounds/set up..

It has fully programmable synthesizer section - each sound can be layered from 4 very good quality samples with independent envelopes, filters, pitch env, mixing, panning, effects. You can split the keyboard just for 2 zones. Registrations are in the range of hand. Each has separate button. I don’t remember the number of banks, but it was enough for most cases. Friend borrowed me this baby just for a couple of days and i didn’t planned to make this demo at first, but after couple hours of playing i decided to do it. I haven’t much time for more in depth presentation, but i have made decision of buying KN6500. And i must say - it’s totally awesome!! Much much better than kn5000. Demo soon.

@@stereopolis Wow😲!..yeah I've been watching several videos on the SXKN-5000 and its multiple advanced functions..it's an amazingly impressive instrument..so since you purchased the SX KN-6500, do you have any plans on selling your SX KN-5000?..

Niegdyś dość drogie maszyny, niedoceniane, ale słychać nawet na YT czyste ciepłe barwy👍 Praktycznie nic nie wiem o tym modelu (posiadam suchy test z instrumenty klawiszowe) i innych. Z tej prezentacji widać, że do grania w domowym zaciszu się jak najbardziej nadaje.

Patch name: Modern EP1. It’s Yamaha DX7 Classic artificial Rhodes Piano sound. Iconic patch from almost every ballad in the 80’s. And the best sample based emulation i’ve ever heard so far in this price range

@@stereopolis Definitely! I have a Technics KN5000 as well, but only have had it for couple days never tried that piano! That reminded straight of yamaha and Nord when I heard it in your video, nord has this sound as well. Everyday this keyboard surprises me more and more the age it has and the quality of the sounds. Do you have yours with the floppy disk still working or swapped it with the usb one? Cheers!

@@stereopolis I have a midi keyboard as well, a nektar impact lx61+ where I started learning piano using the VSTs from Magix, they have some amazing patches, but damn the technics really surprised me the age it has and the quality it brings, the keys have an amazing feeling and the patches like you said for the age it has it's completely something rare to find nowadays on this kind of keyboards on this price range, that's why this model is really rare as well nowadays.

@@musicsharing5645 Actually it’s not mine...just borrowed from my friend Paweł. It has floopy drive. But the more i played, the more i wanted one....and just bought amazing, fantastic, stunning, great sounding KN 6500...and it’s totally mindblowing!

Cual es la procedencia, que modelo es el más actual, parece más para estudio y para música electrónica, clásica, baladas, pero para bailable quien sabe. No se si samplea.Muy mecánicos algunos sonidos
