Follow me as I discover the use of a part from a competitor manufacture used in this Technics CD player, while I search for a fault in vain. (The fault was locate somewhere else and is also explained)

Hi! I come watching this video because today I start trying play a CD in an unit like yours. The display and functions working well but no sound out on main output except in headphones. After a couple of hours I accidentaly discover the problem. The output RCA females sockets in the unit, both had (very) bad cold solderings in their terminal on circuit board. Problem fixed and now its working great!

I had the exact same fault on a CD player I bought on a flea-market. Resoldered the terminals on the PCB and all's well.
Philips is used because the whole transport was theirs.
