I got screwed by them... Bought the product, thinking that it would worth it. Watched 3 or 4 videos, realized that it was BS, sent a bunch of emails asking friendly for a refund and got no answer back. Well, realized I lost $500 to these scammers. Thanks for this video, I personally don't have enough audience to share what happened to me and boycott them..

@Miroslav Mandic yeah, I bought it thinking that they would teach much more advanced stuff and also I understood (incorrectly) they would give some personal coaching as well. As a 30 year old SW Engineer, let me give you guys some advice.... Most engineers are terrible teachers. The best engineers I know all suck at teaching engineering. The best engineering teachers/tutors are usually average coders/engineers who will work at average companies because ...wait for it...wait for it... they ENJOY teaching more than they do grinding for corporations or better positions etc TechLead is clearly a brilliant engineer (no one can hold that against him) and his advice/ talks about the SW industry is full of great wisdom and advice (that would have been a better product for him to sell). I don't know how good of a SW engineer Joma is so I won't comment on that. However, as this video quite clearly shows, Techlead is clearly a horrific teacher who's trying to launch a business in the scammiest way possible. I'd stay very far away from these types of 'teachers'.

Am a software engineer and anyone with my backgrounds know that quality software engineers dont stay unemployed like he did and neither do they resort to such desperste measures to launch a business. In fact, quality sofeware engineers do not resort to teaching basic coding for beginners. So i very well suspect that tech lead is not a good at his job.

I'm not an ex fang software engineer but I've met a lot of them over the years. My advice would be if you want to enjoy software development, go work for well established mid sized company. They tend to have the best work/life balance & the money to pay you as you progress. Also there are some really good bootcamps out there but self teaching with free resources is honestly one of the best skills to learn because you'll be self teaching for your career anyway might as well start now.

I'm a programmer for over 20 years too. Since i learned about "binary trees" from that Techlead video a few weeks ago ive become depressed and suffer immense feelings of inadequacy. I have never applied one and, despite doing serious research, still havent been able to figure out a practical use for them. Hell, if you asked me to describe some 'algorithms' i frequently apply your question would be answered with a long and awkward silence. I admit it. I always felt that my feelings concerning not deserving the millions and millions of dollars i made programming the last 2 decades were due to the 'imposter syndrome'.. but thanks to techlead i now have to face it: i really am just an imposter after all.

Good that you shared this video. I used to watch their videos and felt everything is confusing and lack critical information about career goals of software development and used to think of my inability to grasp important information. The main reason for this is because they don't have any negative reviews. They are probably trying to apply CONFORMITY principle in their channel where you conform even though that is clearly wrong(picked up from other content creators). Rather than improving their content they are just being greedier.
