I love my Blindr blinds. Everyone who makes fun of them for being $1000 per blind plus $249 for each sold-separately motor plus the monthly activation subscription fee is just jealous. It's actually a good price when you consider the quality, and now with their new family subscription plan I can use all the blinds in my house for only $79 a month. These blinds _just work_ once you install all the compatible Blindr windows. In fact, it's so convenient and special that I don't think I can live with anyone who doesn't exclusively have Blindr blinds. It ruins the whole network when one person in the household uses non-Blindr blinds, because it then shows that window as a green window rather than a blue one in the Blindr Home Control app's 3D model of my home.

The wand for the blinds alone being $250 is what sent me 😂😂😂 Bit of a funny story I have regarding blinds as well. Back when my brother and I moved out from home, we roomed together, a stepping stone of getting more independence but not making enough yet to live by ourselves and not wanting/having random friends as roommates. As I packed to leave our mom's house, I remember seeing the measuring tape and knowing I would perhaps need it, so to pack it where I would find it again. I somehow lost it anyways. Our upstairs bathroom at the new apartment needed blinds, and sooo...we decided to wing it. We went to Walmart, bought some blinds, aaand...they were too large. Alrightie, no biggie, Walmart is great about returns if you have a receipt. We just bought smaller blinds and exhanged them. They were now too small. Damnit, let's try this again! Still too small. By this point, we have now made three to four trips to Walmart and NEVER did we just think, "Gee, we should just buy a new measuring tape!" No, we were idiots and convinced we would find the old one and didn't want to buy a new one. We NEVER found the old one. And finally, four or five times the charm, we got the measurement right with the window. The woman at the customer service counter would laugh and shake her head sadly at us each sheepish time we returned 😅 I would like to think if I were ever to buy something as fancy as Blindr 2.0, I would take the time to measure the window but...probably not 😅

Despite this being a parody at Apple, it wasn’t purposely cheap to make it funny. The renders were great, the sound, the music and the script were not half bad. It was about the clean inserts of jabs that made this hilarious.

You missed the part where to save on packaging all panels are sold individually at your local apple store and if one becomes damaged, they are still available at the apple store for the small price of $299 per panel, and if you decide to replace it with a non apple certified panel, all other panels will refuse to rotate and will actually go see through. All of this is of course for the safety of our users as we don’t want them being spied on by counterfeit products, but they can worry no more as our blindr has an individual camera and audio recorder in each panel so that everything you say and do is recorded for our… market research.

Customer support are telling me I have to upgrade them to 11 which for me means I'll need to change the hardware. It is for my safety apparently but I don;t buy that. I think I'll be swithing to SunSang instead. They are not nearly as beautiful but they will work even with XP windows, even the wooden ones. Moreover SunSang blinds use a block chain to adjust the angle of the blinds and are made of graphene which mitigates micro vortices better than wood.
