Tech 21 Trademark 60 Guitar Amp (Demo by Dave)
Музыка
Dave Lenef demos this T-60 solid-state 2-channel amplifier, in preparation for eBay sale. The Trademark 60 is one of the most highly rated solid state amp combos, regarded for its warm analog approach.

Great demo, with one caveat: The "weep" button in the OD channel darkens and thickens the tone, rather the opposite of the "bite" button in the clean channel. (And yes, I own one, thought it's the older version with the proprietary speaker.)
I have a Fender Delux 90 that sits in my closet, and I use this amp for everything, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Metal it works for all, this guy is not BS ing....People always ask me what it is, and I just say it is everything I need! I may upgrade to a Fender Pro reverb soon, but I won't get rid of this...
Great review and you seems like an honest person.. thanks for uploaded this video.. i have strong plan to buy that amp :) because of you of course... if only i live in your country i will buy that amps
Nice job!
@tenaciousdale Not sure how it compares to the Vox 50-watt solid state amp. I was pretty happy with this amp's loudness in rehearsal situations and small clubs. Its ability to cut through the mix is a little harder to predict because there are so many factors that can vary, but I'm pretty confident that the amp's tonal flexibility would deliver what you need as long as the raw wattage was sufficient.
Excellent video. I have one that someone stuck an Eminence Wizard in. Trying to decide if I want to keep it.
@stuco '91 American Strat with Lindy Frailin pups. Thanks for the comment.
What do you think about the noise in those amps? I think it’s a bit too much with single coils…
tenaciousdale--I have the 2-12" version of that amp. With 60 watts into 2-12"s, it'll get pretty darn loud, and if it's not enough, I'll line into the PA--it's got an XLR out that's designed to sound like a mic'ed speaker.
Great vid, dave. Is it a open back or a closed back???
its a really good sounding amp. it has some modeling stuff embedded right?
Awesome tone! It sounds almost tube amp.
Sounds a lot nicer than my TM10. :p
Do all of these buzz like that? I have looked at a couple videos and they all seem to make noise?

Its probably the pickups, not the amp. Some pickup configurations hum. Its just the way they're wired and also a factor or background electromagnetic radiation in the area you're playing.
Does it get's fair amount of low end ('ala tube amps) which SS amps are lacking..
NIIIIICE
@dlenef Do you mean a Hot Rod Deluxe or a Deluxe Reverb?
Hi Do you think i should buy this ,or a laney valve amp
is it a 69 watt amp? NO Speakers on my comp:(
MrDimebuck, that amp is the one 12" speaker.
this is the 1X12?
You don't need to compare this to a valve amp!!! It sounds wonderful that's all that matters
Zunder, I agree that it's one of the better solid state guitar amps. But ultimately, I like the tone and feel of my tube Fender Deluxe better. So I can't really justify buying another TM60.
is the amp still available? how much?
Great review! I have one of these also. Please don´t sell you´ll regret after...
Why sell? It was my third amp and I was struggling financially. OK, that hasn't changed much. So I decided to sell of a bunch of gear, including the amp. But it's a good amp - believe me.
i dont know why i like this amp so much would u say its be good enough to play with distrotion like metal music, 'cause i like to play like crazy metal music and then go soft with clean sound.. i use humbuckers
I sold the amp a couple of weeks ago.
Sorry Dibox. I'm not familiar with the Mesa DC2. I suspect that it's quite a different piece of gear, seeing as how it's a hand-built tube amplifier, compared to the Tech 21, which is a less expensive solid state amp.
hey beautiful the trademark 60 right? it turned my head and chest with celestion g 12 8 ohms Cone and believe me, that sounds scary to people it seems to him a pure tube are happy with this change in the short lighthouse 'a video and hear hello
@hideawayblues Both! (I have both)
Single coil hum, has to do with the pickups and the correct grounding (shielding) of the guitar.
just wondering why you wanted to sell
