@@mike_bliss Not really. Cowboys just don't have the right quarterback. They're actually a good team with one of the best defenses. They gave Shanahan (an offensive mastermind) all he could handle. In the end their offense wasn't close to good enough.

@@cali2468 Is it the wrong quarterback? Or the wrong head coach? I mean they won against Brady, so clearly Dak fits their offense well. But when your HC lets you just run roughshod like a deer-in-the-headlights, it trickles down to the QB not knowing what to do.

This is 100% true. Even me, as a cowboy's fan, have to admit, Dak always had great players in offense and defense, and still played bad. Making wrong decisions, being intercepted almost every game and the fans at the end of the day always blaming the coach, the defense, the kicker... The reality is that he doesn't have conditions to lead the team to the Superbowl

@@Elusivve excuses?! My teams 3rd string Qb is headed to the NFC championship! Dallas has holes all over that team talent wise! They have 3 good players on offense, and 1 great player on defense along with 2 other good defensive players and that’s it! They remind me of the Packers, good in the regular season (mainly because of strength of schedule), and then can’t do anything in the playoffs! I’ll give Dallas’s defense credit, they actually showed up yesterday! They ran into a team that has way more talent on both sides of the ball and better coaching.

@@ChuckTateD117hey are 100% excuses, even outside of this year last year the Cowboys got bounced in the 1st round by a less talented and injured team while having two number one wrs, two rbs and a top 5 oline. dak is being given more chances than anyone and we have a large enough sample size to objectively say dak cannot get it done in the post season

What Ryan and Irvin fail to realize is stats don’t matter in the playoffs. Plenty of teams and QB’s put up great stats in the regular season but in the playoffs things get tighter. The margin of error gets smaller. And when you have a QB who is known for throwing INT’s when the game is close you will never win like that. How do I know? Look no further then Tony Romo.

@@MIAPhilly I agree Kirk Cousins is a great example. Kirk probably has better regular season stats than Eli Manning but when it comes to crunch time in the playoffs Eli can make those one or two key plays to win the game.
Dak Prescott is going to end up being the Jesse Lingard of the NFL. Dudes gonna end up being 30+ and still be labeled as a young talent that needs more time to realize his potential.
7 years in the league and not one nfc championship appearance while other younger qbs with less time in the league have won superbowls and got to the nfc championship game in the little time of 3 years yet dak couldn’t do it in 7? This is bias for the cowboys because if it was any other qb especially hurts, they would be saying it’s time to move on from this qb for doing less in 7 years than other qbs did in 3 to 4 years.

Average QB's (and a terrible owner living the fantasy he's real a NFL GM) have been killing the DC for over 20 years. We need another Staubach or Aikman. I'd trade Dak, cut Zeke and go after Rogers or Brady. Replace McCarthy with Payton & and bring on Jimmy Johnson as a consultant. We have a SB caliber defense that is being wasted.
