Learning the game section made me realize 2 things - 1, Souless had to learn from your branch of fate Lunatic save file and 2, Xander's AI in this chapter is bugged on Lunatic - he's supposed to always attack Ryoma. And sometimes he does that, but other times his AI (including healing AI) breaks and decides to attack weakest enemy instead. I tried many times to figure out what causes it but if there's a pattern to it I can't see it. The only thing of note is that if his healing AI does kick in, then he consistently attacks Ryoma no matter how many other units there are around at least once before his AI randomly breaks again. It's the only case in the game I can think of when something like this happens.

Many of these comparisons are very context specific, there are some clear better ones like the even better vs better odds but ones like quick draw vs strong riposte is very context dependent. Which one is better is hard to tell Quick draw has a much higher floor and is able to be always used on player phase and having the extra +4 attack to one shot or one round enemies is very strong but has a lower ceiling in that you are limited by unit actions (1 default without azura sings) whilst strong riposte has a lower floor in that you can die before even getting the payoff of the attack and it being 1 less as well making tight benchmarks for OTK/ORK sometimes not reach, but has a higher ceiling in that you can use it for every single enemy phase attack against them In conquest quick draw can be much more preferred as it’s far more player phase focused, it’s what gives mozu and anyone she befriends or marries a leg up as +4 damage can give you the strong advantage to kill the powerful enemies in that route while in birthrights strong riposte is preferred as it’s much more enemy phase focused with lots of weaker enemy spam chapters so after 2 enemies strong riposte is doing more damage in total… in conquest getting hit by 2+ enemies an enemy phase can be death in lots of instances

Seems like he did a good job evaluating things for the most part, with misses generally just being a lack of context/game mechanics. Or even in the Lethality vs. Defender, I'd argue he was right haha but just missed the metagame concept of resetting and manipulation being frowned upon. If you're ok with rigging rng, Lethality is arguably the best skill in the game.
