Since they're back on land, I would be expecting twice or three times the amount of characters from last time because of the models they had to make last time (3 per character)

the two are even different, mario kart is foccused on the fun with the objects while the sonic racing games are mostly foccused on the skills with a heavy dependence on drifts etc and the objects are more fair than mario kart

One day, Sonic ran so fast he accidentally ran into Mario car or kart. Then sonic has some type of vision of seeing himself with bags of money while in a cool damn expensive car. Then after his vision or whatever, Mario came out and was like "OMG, you alright bro?" and then he said while laying on the floor with a messed up face "Cha-Ching."

CrackerDamDacker Gaming Honestly, it does. As for me, I really dislike Sonic. I have watched or played some of his games, and they really aren't my type of thing. But this actually does look fun. I played All Star Transformed, and it was pretty okay. Honestly I would prefer Mario Kart 8 DX but this does look pretty neat.

You should sell your body and soul to the fandom of Sonic the Hedgehog and reject everything SEGA presents to improve on the franchise because we all want it to stay PIXELATED and 2D just like the old days. Putting some facts out there since this is the Nintendo channel: "This is just like Sonic Racing transformed" Kinda. It's made by the same devs of the previous all star games so there will be similarities. The "gimmick" this time is team work which is a nice idea since you can share items with others who are way behind you. They also put in the "turbulence" riding that sonic riders had =). "Why is this game on a Nintendo channel? They only make mario" Third parties are a thing. "What's with the music?" It's our Lord and savior Crush 40 (jk) that hasn't appeared in a sonic game for a very long time. "Game looks boring" I assure you that if you enjoyed the previous entries then this game is going to be very fun since it's sumo digital Annnnnnnd that's all!

Kazoka122 “Game looks boring”. I mean it kind of does. We haven’t seen that many items that don’t fall under “obstacle, explosive, homing projectile, and bouncing projectile” and many people aren’t fond of the new team mechanic. Haven’t seen transformations so tracks could potentially be more linear, roster is limited to Sonic characters only, and most of the trailers are scripted cutscenes in the engine. You can’t call something fun before you even play it.

If you watched the e3 gameplay you would know that it has this pretty neat team mechanic that let's you share items with your friends, combine powers and share victories that doesn't make it boring imo
