I think it’s definitely inspired by Twilight in some capacity!! It’s too early to see for Grey City but throughout the Blood Altar they reference a lot of vampire movies like Nosferatu, Dracula, Let Me In etc. and when Sooha is introduced in the story film she has a scene with a red apple like the cover of Twilight 🍎 so I think they definitely got inspired by Bella a little bit :D

Thank you so much for this video! I always look forward to your analysis about &team!! I often feel that they're overlooked but content like yours really means a lot for casual followers like me! Having watched the MV, I have some questions as a casual reader of the Manwha too: I definitely agree that the girl in the video is most likely Sooha. My question is: how deep will she split the the boys and why? I felt like there were some members who welcomed her innocently (Off the top of my head, Maki, and Harua, Taki and K?) whereas some others seemed to see through her (if she even had anything to hide at all of course!). JO and Nicholas and more especially Fuma seem to be weary of her. Nicholas and JO seem to stare at her accusingly (begrudgingly?) while they perform for her from her perch on the stone wall. Their expressions were not friendly and seemed accusatory(?), while Fuma seems to observe her from afar in an aloof manner during the bonfire and he seems to be listening to whatever Sooha (?) was talking to EJ about in the early hours of the morning in the pickup truck. When Sooha raises her gun and seems to be aiming and shooting at some of the members she does so in an orange shade where we see Nicholas getting shot in the back and Fuma earlier on looking on (I may have missed some members) in the same distinct orange hue and backdrop. Does the lighting and colouring mean that Sooha is deliberately picking some members off? I'm sure that I'm interpreting the entire video wrong of course, but I'm curious about how you read about this more in depth! Edit: also, the scene where the boys are clad in wolf masks in their pyjamas while Sooha (?) is chasing them on a bike, with a rifle strapped to her back. Does that scene mean that she's deliberately shooting certain members or all of them? Again, we only saw 2 or at most 3 (I'm not sure) being actively hunted in orange lighting. I can't really wrap my head around all the symbolisms and messages around this song, but I really do appreciate your insight! thank you! Edit 2; I really need media and cultural study awareness!

Thank you for your analysis, I have a question, do you suggest that I read both &team and enhypen stories in what order? which one do i read first? and what videos could help me understand the story more?

You’re welcome! 🥰 yes, I’d definitely read both, the wolves have a big role in enhypen’s story, especially K, Nicholas, Taki and EJ! As for the order, honestly you could go either way 🤔 there is a 20-year gap between the two, &team’s story is the prequel of enhypen’s so it’s like two different stories with the same characters. The wattpad of enha’s The Blood Altar is already complete, the webtoon is still ongoing but we’re getting there. In comparison The Grey City came out later so it has a long way to go still. As for the videos, I’m currently preparing more Dark Moon content but if you’re curious about &TEAM’s story you can check my &TEAM playlist! And I also talk about them in ENHYPEN’s Future Perfect videos (both KR and JP, the mvs focus on a part of the story featuring the wolves!) there are also some Dark Moon related videos breaking down the first episodes of enha’s story, but I just covered the first few because I was doing them week by week before being overwhelmed by them 😅😂 hope it helps 🤗

My personal take on it is that it’s like a visual representation of them being hit by all those emotions. Because when she shoots them the impact creates fireworks you know? Sooha never shoots anyone in the story so I guess it’s a metaphor 😂

because if u read the dark moon webtoon (enhypen's webtoon) then its v clear that sooha likes heli(heesung's character) both of them like each other. and in the webnovel there r many moments(?) of them together. like when they're together they r portrayed as a couple almost
