You did bring something interesting to mind, because of the Sketer size there is going to be a few after market options for the body. That Proline Raptor body is always tops on my list but a monster SCT🤔 Great comparison and just purely facts being provided.

This is a 1/8 scale truck in a 1/10 body they didn't make it 6s because it would be ballistically fast for most people so I completely agree with you you would have to be stupid to buy something else unless you like to look or handling of the other vehicles

I agree with you! You get so much more for your money with the Corally, but there is just something more " fun " with HCG trucks ( in my opinion ) I had a revo 2.0 maybe 2 years back, sold it, bought an Arrma but find them less exciting to run... So glad your giving Team corally and their sketer the showcase and love Jason. I think TC is so under rated and if people give them a try it won't be their last. They are definitely a company that should blow up and only get better as they go. One problem is Corallys V1s had some issues and turned owners off and scared them from buying again but TC listened to the community and problems and fixed alot of weak points. They just seem really well built machines and at a great price. You're so right about traxxas too. That's why they don't get my hard earned money cause they are incredibly overpriced and outdated imo. They look to bleed every penny out their loyal customers and are just horrible value wise. They don't make yearly improvements on their trucks either. They seem like they are still in 2010. Won't give a company like that my money. Arrma has incredibly high bar to try to get up to with their 4s truck and a updated but similar to the v1 4s will be a huge disappointment. They need to do what tc did and scale down a 1/8th scale truck into a 10th scale and beef the heck out of it.

Corally will definatly be huge this year If people let them . Based on the Sketer and the 2022 Kronos XTR alone. They did exaclty what you said and made the improvements that had to, and also improved on other parts that had no issue. I do enjoy Traxxas trucks. I like that the part support is huge. But, they need to come way down in price. They need to know what they are in the RC Market.

TC needs to do something about their bodies though! I mean the only one that I can tolerate is the Punisher and the Radix 6. This Skeeter looks absolutely incredible to the point where I have to buy it and I have slowed down buying RC's by about 80% but my God is it ugly! I believe TC is clearly going to make Arrma have to really work at their durability and handling the next few years or they're going to lose even more customers but as of now TC is in last place in the looks department for me at least. Of course you can get a ProLine body but not everybody want to deal with that and I love looking at RC almost as much as driving them! I didn't even run my Losi tenacity DB Foxbody for the first two weeks I had it because I couldn't stop looking at it! 😂 Skeeter though with the body on I don't think I look twice 😂 but I'm definitely buying her!

Love the comparison! I'm not gonna comment on the Hoss since I don't own it 🤣 The Pro SCT is an awesome truck but like you pointed out the diffs are TINY 🤦🏻‍♂️ I have run it on 5s and it held up fine but I found that the sensored XR8 and 4274 2200kv hobbywing motor on 4s is plenty! Also, the value in the Sketer looks amazing 🤩 My pro SC has about $700 on it, at the time I bought the kit and already had the electronics. Otherwise it wasn't worth it, but being a kit I enjoyed building it. If the Sketer drives close to how the Pro SC does then it's a winner man! If Corally makes a 1/10 truggy out of this platform I think I am gonna give it a try 👍

Good comparison video. No need to be apologetic to Traxxas fanboys, because you were just telling the truth, you were just being objective. It is what it is, Traxxas trucks are good but they've gotten too expensive. On the other hand, TC has established a good reputation when it comes to electronics.

I'm not afraid to say it. Traxxas, for the most part just lives off their brand name. Most of their lineup is made up of overpriced, plastic, poor electronics, toy lines. I have yet to see a vehicle of theirs, that impresses me. They have failed to innovate if many, many moons. The only thing Traxxas has going for them is the X-Maxx, and even that vehicle has junk stock electronics. Now, let the fanboys commence their attack.
